"We went to this restaurant the last night of our vacation, we were waiting for a good last meal before we went home the next day. But frankly, I would advise everyone to avoid this restaurant like the plague. Everything went well, to the main dish. We ordered our average meat, but it really got us too cooked. I've already eaten too cooked meat and it didn't really bother me to eat it, especially since I didn't want to bother, so we decided to just eat it. but after the main dish, everything went very fast downhill. one of us ordered a glass of wine, had to wait half an hour to receive it, after asking for it actor time. We then ordered from the desert. We had to wait 35 extra minutes for two of us to have our Catalan cream, which was horrible, it had the taste of a cold rusty egg with a sugar coating on the top and the texture was very grumpy. the other three had to wait another 15 minutes to get their pies, an order that the server had initially wrongly taken. Anyway, the pies were correct, but when the waiter came back to pick the plates, we complained about the Catalan cream. he started on the defensive very quickly, telling us that we are obviously mistaken, since it is a speciality of the house, so obviously you must not know what taste has a real Catalan cream. If he had just told us that this is how they always do, I would have accepted it, but his defensive and rude way of talking to us really put his finger on the coffin. In addition to that, we have seen several couples wait for more than 40 minutes to be helped in the first place, so this restaurant is obviously not very concerned to help its customers. In conclusion, we will not return here again. errors can always be made, but the lack of respect for the customers and the little attention paid to the reception have really stopped us, we will not return here and we advise everyone to stay away from this place."

typical main square overvalued. decent wine, poor paella!, reasonable fish, offers for children at low front. Stay in places outside the square.

the service was pretty bad, with a few disputes between the staff in front of the customers. The food is correct, but not so good. good location and beautiful view on the square st louis with its statue.

For the first time in my life, I didn't give a tip to the waiter. Service is outrageously bad. food is correct but nothing special and I would strongly recommend to try one of the other restaurants around the square and not to waste your time and money here.

we stopped here to eat something at the end of the afternoon, nice location on the square of the city, we sat outside, it's an ideal place to watch the world pass. Our server was talking an excellent English. We both chose the royal paella and were very impressed. service a little slow but we weren't in a hurry so no problem. View menu

We had lunch at casa toro luna. It was lunchtime and the restaurant was full of people. Despite the pressure, the service was fast and friendly. The food was good. We had a very well-fried seaweed with a tasty gratiny of potatoes in the oven. the wine of the house was correct, just like the price. our friends were also satisfied with their choices.

We wanted something light for lunch, but when we ordered tapas and two non-alcoholic drinks, the waiter seemed reluctant to serve us, even if it was 13:45, so not exactly the lunch hour. the service was slow, the tapas were correct and finally the server came back to ask us if we wanted something else. Before we could answer, he said "yes. the bill." Strange attitude.

we were driving from Toulouse to Marcheille and decided to stop for lunch in a city already visited. The city was picturesque as before. the place for lunch was new for us. the waitress was good and found us a place in about 10 minutes. Like it was lunch time without reservation, it was a good time. The steaks were tasty, the sides were very rich. Not a bad place for lunch. View menu

We ate in this restaurant at noon. Served was quick and nice. Unfortunately, speak only French. the food was soon, good, large portions. We ate a fish soup, an excellent paella (both a casa and royal. Not a steak. We had a local digestive (mix of wine and fishing liqueur), rosé wine, pastis. We were satisfied. we can recommend it, we would not expect anything special on such a tourist site near the cathedral and next to the statue of Saint-Louis

the menu looked very good and at 15 €, it was excellent and so good value for money. the tables are erected on the main square and in the evening it was nice to sit. There was a group in one of the nearby cafes that was a little too noisy, but nothing to do with this restaurant. the entry of the mussels (moules) was excellent, presented in a delicious creamy sauce and there was much more than what I expected the price. the main dish was the bull's gardianne or camel's beef stew, another local dish with a rich sauce and rice. There could have been a little more rice with the dish. dessert was an excellent chocolate mousse. service was efficient and very professional.

"My girlfriend was riding a bike ride and one of our stops for the night was in Aigues-Mortes. our guide recommended the peacock bistro and we went to the city walls to locate it. it is found that we were in Aigues-Mortes on the same day as their annual celebration of the feasts of Saint-Louis, so the community was full of space and visitors. we managed to find the paou bistro in one of the side streets and even if we had no reservation, we had the chance to have the last table available for two. they do not offer paper menus because everything is written on some large portable black tables that are displayed so that you can make selections. our server took care of us quickly and we both ordered inputs and a glass of wine each. our French-language capabilities were sufficient to enable us to communicate effectively! We both selected local wines and they were very kind. a lot of bread was provided and we looked with wonder the restaurant filling up and the small team of servers took care of everyone. our meals went out in time and the presentation was very attractive. I ordered a lamb dish and my girlfriend ordered grilled local fish. Both meals were fantastic, they were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Vegetables were provided for both of us and I had potatoes with my lamb while my girlfriend had rice with her fish. We also ordered desserts and they were served quickly and were also delicious. As the evening went on, we noticed that it was a challenge for the servers to follow everyone, I suppose that because of the festival, it was probably more busy than usual but they managed to serve everyone with a smile even if they were a little overwhelmed. . we spent more than a week in france and we both agree that it was our best meal during this period!"
