"rare in such a tourist area to find a restaurant like this. simple but not simplistic kitchen. The dishes taste. there is no cuisine without flavor and without relief. here we respect the kitchen and at every moment the chef is happy to see the guests enjoy. the products are fresh and of quality and we feel it in the plate. a 22.80 eur entrance flat dessert we do not mock the world. an excellent quality price ratio. at random... excellent white butter with the eaglefin net, beautiful lost bread, ice mango with a true taste of the fruit....I advise to make the detour but book!!!"

"EDIT MAI 2023: More menus, so the price quality ratio is no longer there. Too expensive Superb place, like every time we go! And the staff is really nice! I recommend camembert with hot honey for dessert! A feast from beginning to end! (If the card offers it, I also recommend the bull's quota! Edit: I added following our meal yesterday the shoulder of lamb that was of exceptional generosity and a taste to fall!"

"The restaurants in Aigues Mortes are dominated by those who are offering more or less the same dishes. Fish or meat accompanied by some French fries. This can be very good (and is in fact not too bad here and there) but is extremely boring...especially if you spend more than 3 days in the region. The “Aromatique” is quite the opposite. A very positive one! Innovative, well balanced dishes are true delicacies. The menu is relatively small but this is not a handicap, it’s even more a proof for freshness. Last but not least I have to highlight the super friendly service (in fluent English) provided by Laura and her team. This excellent restaurant is highly recommended."

"Since last year, I have been encouraged to try this restaurant. I can only say good. So I decided to go to boem dinner with friends. Did you hear any compliments? I have always found the ordinary setting, bind only by the canal: a very bobo frame corresponding well in the name of the house.As for the kitchen, it is a tenative to harmonize the kitchen of the noon and Asian cuisine. It's pretty well done, but I expected to be better given the local reputation.Trop of sophistication in the presentation of the dishes is not enough. "My girlfriend was riding a bike ride and one of our stops for the night was in Aigues-Mortes. our guide recommended the peacock bistro and we went to the city walls to locate it. it is found that we were in Aigues-Mortes on the same day as their annual celebration of the feasts of Saint-Louis, so the community was full of space and visitors. we managed to find the paou bistro in one of the side streets and even if we had no reservation, we had the chance to have the last table available for two. they do not offer paper menus because everything is written on some large portable black tables that are displayed so that you can make selections. our server took care of us quickly and we both ordered inputs and a glass of wine each. our French-language capabilities were sufficient to enable us to communicate effectively! We both selected local wines and they were very kind. a lot of bread was provided and we looked with wonder the restaurant filling up and the small team of servers took care of everyone. our meals went out in time and the presentation was very attractive. I ordered a lamb dish and my girlfriend ordered grilled local fish. Both meals were fantastic, they were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Vegetables were provided for both of us and I had potatoes with my lamb while my girlfriend had rice with her fish. We also ordered desserts and they were served quickly and were also delicious. As the evening went on, we noticed that it was a challenge for the servers to follow everyone, I suppose that because of the festival, it was probably more busy than usual but they managed to serve everyone with a smile even if they were a little overwhelmed. . we spent more than a week in france and we both agree that it was our best meal during this period!"
