"Based on a bright recommendation from our hotel, we booked a dinner in this restaurant. They made us clear when we came in to book that they did a great favor by sending us. When we arrived, we were accompanied at all empty tables at the front of the restaurant to a table at the back. 90% of the tables were set with sparkling white linen. The ones in our dingy corner were set with red checked cloths. Our table was right next to a large party of German businessmen. They even pushed our table back to give this party more space. While the waiters rushed over this group, we were completely ignored. We waited twenty minutes and finally left the restaurant to go somewhere, which actually welcomed us. This restaurant is not visitor-friendly to avoid all costs. There are so many beautiful, friendly places in the neighborhood. R"

Sehr aufmerksamer Service, Gutes Ambiente, alle Speisen von sehr guter Qualität und auch der Wein prima. Preislich allerdings ca. 30% überteuert. Beispiel: Lammkarre für 39 zuzüglich ! Beilage, 30 wäre OK. Wolfsbarsch der wirklich gut war 50 plus Beilage usw usf. Bei angemessenen Preisen vier oder fünf Sterne, aber Berlin Charlottenburg ist nicht Schwabing. Schade, bei allem Verständnis für die Probleme der Gastronomie werden wir das nicht wiederholen.

Vor der Corona Pandemie gab es bei Cassambalis eine große Vorspeisentafel in der Mitte des Restaurants. Was für eine Pracht das war, frisch, vielseitig, delikat und köstlich! Man konnte frei wählen im Selbs Service. Dieses Angebot einzigartig wunderbar war der eigentliche Grund für uns, immer wieder gern mit Freunden uns bei Cassambalis zu verabreden. Auch Promis konnte der Gast mit etwas Glück öfters dort antreffen. Seit der Corona Zeit ist die Vorspeisentafel leider verschwunden und auch danach nicht wieder aufgetaucht.
