"First of all: Who goes to the Castello and expects a Schicki-Micki Italian with extra much Chichi will be disappointed. The Castello is a cozy Italian restaurant where Dolche Vita is lived and the guest is honestly welcome. Whether you look for money or you're disabled. Everyone is welcome here. And that's what I mean. The host and the staff are very friendly. This is a sincere and warm-hearted way. There's nothing here. The guest is a guest. The choice of dishes is typical of Italian cuisine. Special wishes will be discussed, which is not a problem, because everything is freshly prepared. I find the pizza sensational. But everything else is recommended. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. I'm sure if something wasn't 100%, I'd get a fix right away. But, as I said, we never had to experience it. I also recommend that you simply rely on the hosts' recommendations. I really recommend this restaurant completely. The negative reviews here are not comprehensible for me. Those who just want to enjoy a very nice and relaxed evening are absolutely right here. As I said, it's not an Italian for acting. A private parking lot is very good, because in the immediate surroundings the parking lot is otherwise difficult. Very good pizza, pasta and salad. Good operation, reasonable prices.

The Castello is my main Italian and I support him so well I can in this difficult time. The pizza is absolutely the best in Bad Kreuznach, the rest of the kitchen is absolutely top. Let's hope we're back in the restaurant with fine food and a good wine.

The restaurant is bright and modern. We were kindly welcomed. We shared crispy Crostini, there was a rich white wine. We chose Pasta. Tagliatelle Amatriciana and Tris di Pasta came nicely hot on the table and were tastefully as the Italian mum would make them. It's okay -grazie.

Dinner of 10/08/20 The reception is correct without more, no English card and servers speak neither English nor French. The recipe for antipasti ravioli was relatively salty. Seafood pizza quite fat (too much garlic butter). The frying was pretty good. In conclusion: there is better elsewhere I think.

Pizza and stinky pasta normal ok! Rather something for German hunger instead of Italian good cuisine! Please do not stand wrong, but the Italian cuisine can be so easy with freshness and refinement without being expensive. I have eaten a picatta from the calf alla Lombarda according to the map “a Vino”. The vegetables were completely boiled and the sauce was refined with flavor enhancers.
