The guy serving was amazing. The woman waitress was so rude, never going back... I would rather have warm beer looking at a dead seagulls. In the rain!!!

Lovely hotel, with clean rooms. Breakfast was superb and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Good selection of ales in the bar and nice atmosphere. Aberaeron is a beautiful town and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back!

After a walk in the cold we found the lock hotel to go for a warm drink, as there were of us the female worker barke with us no hot drinks. no offer of other drinks. you need...training how to provide a good customer service. they have lost our business and we will not recommend it.

a fantastic location in the middle of aberaeron. room was spacious and clean. some street noise in the night, but not hotel mistakes. the shower was good lukewarm. comedy, big nice bed. bar very early closed (door closed at breakfast was excellent! mackerel and. best local ingredients in cooked breakfast. we really enjoyed our stay and would stay back.

Pleasant room and good breakfast but hotel is on the main road and our room had widows that couldn’t be closed so there was traffic noise unti late at night and from early morning. Informed staff of this problem as soon as I saw it...but nothing was done.. Pity that owners ignore this rectifiable issue and spoil a stay at an otherwise quite good hotel. Would certainly never book there again

We called in for a couple of drinks after walking from New Quay, so we’d worked up a thirst. We were told to sit at a table outside a member of staff would take our order. We sat down a waitress came almost...immediately, took our order, and brought our drinks. We couldn’t ask for more. The cask ale was decent the quality of Sauvignon acceptable. We finished our drinks got the same level of service for our next round. All good.

we spent a week in Aberaeron from the Martian and, to the greatest part, this place closed early in an evening like pm. but to most of pm. after the pandemic we were asked to support our pubs and restaurants in reopening, as the gastfreundschaftsindustrie had taken such a sneak. I wonder if some had too much governmental aid and can afford to cut their hours? I look forward to a pint of butty bach,' which I noticed that they are on camp, but I do not drink during the day so that the option was taken by me. after a long blue walk around aberaeron a coffee called up in the early afternoon. when we went into a dame sat side of the bar chatting to male customers. she looked up and naked “we don’t make food”... I smiled and said we just wanted coffee. she buzzed and shrug her shoulders. After she had paid for the coffee, she said she would bring her. she prepped the coffee and led her talk with the men loudly criticized others who worked there. after about minutes after the departure of these people she brought our coffee very disappointed on the table, half a cup frit and half a cup of lukewarm latte. We were on holiday in Llanon and the cottage we stayed in had a power cut which meant that I couldn’t wash my hair or have a coffee- it had been a difficult morning. We went into this hotel desperate for a coffee and we...were treated with hostility. We stood in the doorway surrounded by demanding notices of what you couldn’t do due to Covid and we were ignored by the staff. Eventually a female member of staff glanced up shouted across- we’re Not doing food. My husband said it wasn’t a problem as we only wanted coffee. I then asked for a decaf skinny latte and was told aggressively by (I think the manager) we don’t do skinny to which I said that was fine (being made to feel like a nuisance)....
