"Ate out every day for a full week in the 3 valleys and this was the most expensive, even compared to Courchevel 1850. It’s an epic view and atmosphere on a sunny day but the prices are not justified €60) for squid ink pasta with 30 grams of squid is 3 star Michelin prices. Took forever to get any water as well not abnormal in restaurants here but still the slowest amongst them all) Also had my skis stolen for the first time in my 20 year ski career might be bad luck but watch out leaving nice skis at this establishment or consider using the valet. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €80–90 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"

A great moment... even if we have to tell our favorite waitress that “cancer” does not exist. It's a myth.

A table at the corner of the fire, an efficient and smiling service. Very good quality dishes and a special home dessert buffet! Fortunately there's the call of the tracks, if not difficult to leave.

Every year I come here during my stay. Good meat, good food, good service, good look and for those who like it, a tempting sweet buffet. Only disadvantages: the annual price increase (not according to inflation...

Much too expensive for the quality and type of dishes (past of 24/12, I would just put 3/5. Tartiflette, fish and burgundy fondue, but a top service and the staff was more than awesome! (Venue wounded and in crutch, the staff helped me a lot 5/5 The climb/descent with the chevillard was great! 5/5 View menu

Food on the mountain is never cheap, but in the Chalet de la Marine you get amazing quality and quantities. Once we have discovered this place, we often come back to lunch on the slopes. I recommend the burger, pizza, salad and desserts. After my children: some of the best chicken nuggets on the planet.

Mountain restaurant ideally located in Val Thorens. The blueberry pie was delicious. The waiters are very friendly and there is a good atmosphere, however the self-service is not very practical: There is not enough room to wait for your dish, the dishes sometimes wait a long time in the kitchen and are therefore served cold which does not allows us neither to appreciate the dish nor to have good digestion. Maybe worth trying again Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Des Pâtisseries

"This restaurant is one of Val Thorens best kept secrets. Inside there is a gorgeous wine shop bursting with French wines at every price point and style imaginable. There are lovely tables for inside dining, but in sunny ski weather, the terrace right on the...snow is the perfect place to lunch apres-ski. The menu is not large, but don’t let that put you off. The dishes we had were extraordinary. And of an unexpectedly high standard. The frois gras for entree was served with steaming hot bread and a toasted brioche bun. Teamed with the rich but light frois gras, it was a taste sensation. We ate it slowly. The wines by the glass were excellent and we enjoyed a champagne with the entree. For main, the fish was an incredible dish. The fish melted in the mouth and was topped with a slightly Asian style sauce and sat on an ultra light bed of what may have been mashed parsnip and a few vegetables. Heaven. One of the best fish dishes I’ve ever eaten in France. That good. My friend had the beef tartare which was also elegantly presented and a taste sensation with just enough spice, egg and texture. Sitting in the sun watching the skiers, it was the kind of meal dreams are made of. We should have had dessert given how amazing the food was but instead settled on the white hot chocolate made with almond milk. Again a culinary delight pushing boundaries. Can’t wait to eat here again next season."
