"Back to the Beavers after a decade, we forced The Star to always be there, just - on- the slopes above the Menuires, in front of the small village of apartments Les Montagnettes. Great place to stop for lunch or drink a drink, and to our pleasant surprise, also open for dinner! Ideal if you are in the Mountains and you don't want to cook. Good choice on the menu, including a number of local dishes. Very nice dining environment, thank you Damien and staff. (Original opinion) Returning in Les Menuires after a decade, we trod L'Etoile to be still there, right -on- the slopes above Les Menuires, opposite the little part village Les Montagnettes. Great place to stop for luch or a drink, and to our pleasant surprise, also open for Dinner! Ideal if you are in Les Montagnettes and don't want to cook. Good choice on the menu, including a number of local dishes. Very nice environment to have dinner, thank you Damien staff."

Deserving of its five star status. Our regular coffee and lunch stop. Plat De Jour a daily master piece. Booking essential

super cool frame, efficient team, extremely fast service, suitable for children. You have to book! but, 24€ the burger, 10€ the pinch of beer, it stings!

We had a very disappointing dinner here on Christmas Eve but a nice lunch on Christmas Day. Staff are lovely and friendly but food did let it down. My tip would be stick to French specialties on the menu and stay away from the entrecôte. View menu

Offering decent lunch, especially since it is ideally located close to two ski lifts. The portions are huge, you can eat on the terrace and enjoy the magnificent view, the service is fast and efficient. I'd go back if in town (Overview) Decent lunch offering, especially as it's conveniently located near two skilifts. Portions are huge, you get to eat on the terrace and take in the beautiful views, service is quick and efficient. Would go again if in town

There is only one place you can 't miss in Les Menuires and that is the restaurant 'L 'étoile '. In the middle of the 'Montagnette ' ski slope, this restaurant offers all you want: a good atmosphere, SUPERfriendly service and the best quality food ever. From typical (regional) dishes to classics, there is a dish for everyone! Open over lunch and in the evening, you can choose between the so-called 'transat ' to enjoy the sun or either go for the best scenery/panoramic view over the ski resort at night.... Enjoy! "This restaurant is one of Val Thorens best kept secrets. Inside there is a gorgeous wine shop bursting with French wines at every price point and style imaginable. There are lovely tables for inside dining, but in sunny ski weather, the terrace right on the...snow is the perfect place to lunch apres-ski. The menu is not large, but don’t let that put you off. The dishes we had were extraordinary. And of an unexpectedly high standard. The frois gras for entree was served with steaming hot bread and a toasted brioche bun. Teamed with the rich but light frois gras, it was a taste sensation. We ate it slowly. The wines by the glass were excellent and we enjoyed a champagne with the entree. For main, the fish was an incredible dish. The fish melted in the mouth and was topped with a slightly Asian style sauce and sat on an ultra light bed of what may have been mashed parsnip and a few vegetables. Heaven. One of the best fish dishes I’ve ever eaten in France. That good. My friend had the beef tartare which was also elegantly presented and a taste sensation with just enough spice, egg and texture. Sitting in the sun watching the skiers, it was the kind of meal dreams are made of. We should have had dessert given how amazing the food was but instead settled on the white hot chocolate made with almond milk. Again a culinary delight pushing boundaries. Can’t wait to eat here again next season."
