"beautiful champagne and cheese, friendly service, but as I have a wheat allergy, I was disappointed that they were not better with wheat-free brot or crackers. the first waiter I asked gave me a flat “no” without review, the second checked on their own initiative and they had a left chest of a cut wheat-free leaves so that I had the plus a little salate. it's really easy to keep just a package of gluten-free heel cake in the kitchen or a cut laaf toast in the deep freezer. they have an excellent selection of champagne, and very good cheese and sausages."

A lovely lunch, we had a couple of glasses of the house champagne with the Gastro meat and cheese board as well as snails. It was delicious and a great setting in the market watching the world go by. We sat outside which was super warm under the heat lamp.

The first waiter I asked gave me a flat ‘no’ without checking, the second checked on her own initiative and they had one leftover crust of a sliced wheat-free loaf so I had that plus some salad. It’s really easy to just keep a pack of gluten-free oatcakes in the kitchen or a sliced loaf to toast in the freezer.. They have an excellent selection of champagnes, and very good cheese and charcuterie, though.
