"Inspiring high quality vietnameese food with great pho, roasted duck leg served with lots of green, plump sause and rice paper to roll yourself great fun and delicious taste. The duck was absolutely perfectly roasted with crunchy skin and soft and juicy meat. Delicious!...We also tried ribs greatly griled as well. And the most surprising part desserts I am not fun of Asian style dessets in general and Charlie surprised us with amazing home made coconut icecreams served with nuts. Highly recommended. And last but not least great service the young waiter that served us made this extra mile e.g. brough the coffee outside to the friend who wnet out to smoke a cigarette, comprehensively answered all questions, told the story of the place and the Chef that changes great service to unforgettable one well done! Will definitely visit again when next in Munich"

Very nice location, friendly and efficient staff. Food taste is rather average. Expensive for what you get.

fresh, tasty eating in a relaxed, informal environment. pho bo was excellent, came with a whole bowl of extra coriander and thai basil-yum!

Authentic flavor! I had the hot pot and it was delicious. There is a partial English menu and the waitstaff was helpful but didn't speak much English

Slightly off the beaten path, one has to know Charlie to find Charlie. Part Time hipster Vietnamese eatery part time club, Charlie seems like it has lots..

This place is the peak of mediocrity. The atmosphere's dim, unexciting, and pale, the epitome of German winters. The spring rolls were dry, chewy barbs in..

Expensive, unspectacular, sweet Pho?, inattentive. main course came while we were still finishing starters. Would have told this to the waitress too, but wasn‘t asked

Tasteless name, tasteless lucky rolls I don't understand here. The service was also slow, we waited an hour for our food. There are really better alternatives in Munich to eat Vietnamese, e.g. Monsoon!

I love the new menu. I live in nyc and often come to visit Munich. I always have to get some food and a reasonably priced, nice wine at Charlie. I very enjoyed the new bun bai crispy duck and the rainbowtraut with bok choi....Nice to see the menu evolve and I look forward to my next visit

I don´t understand why people go to this restaurant..we booked at 8 and they´ve parked us in the back so we got our table at 9 overbooking? . They suggested a dish to a pregnant friend pretending it wasn´t spicy and instead there was a big amount of chili inside. I´ve ordered something wich should have been squid and I tell you, that was gum and plastic, absolutely not chewable...and overpriced..Moreover The waiters are rude and their face was annoyed all the time ..they brought us the food and forgot plates and cutlery. and even glasses..if it wouldn´t have been for my friends I would have left .mc donalds service is better! Two stars because the name is cool.

"I often feel like visiting a Greek restaurant as a short trip to Greece. Pleasant holiday memories come high and winter before the door is quickly forgotten. If you travel with the S-2 from Munich towards Erding, you will find the glimpse of this Greek restaurant at Feldkirchen's tributary station. Large chestnuts with a typical beer garden, a beautifully renovated house. One hopes for a good meal at perhaps cheaper prices than in Munich. The restaurant was well visited when I entered. The guest room consists of two interconnected rooms. The decoration is Greek-altbacken. The tables and chairs are very close to each other. The greeting was very friendly, we were immediately shown a place. An ouzo was also brought together with the menu. The menu did not show any special features, but that was not expected. The number of dishes beats, the variation of the individual dishes is often low. That's relative. I had grilled Gyros with baby calamaris, with rice, Zaziki (remembered to a finished product) and salad. The Gyros was good, the Kalamaris – well and he rest really was not worth a review. The restaurant is recommended, otherwise I would go for a different location for dinner. The beer garden seems worth a trip in summer. The old chestnuts are also very worth seeing without leaves. Other: The toilets are clean but not clean. Rich parking available. S-Bahn at a distance of 30 m."
