"Set your standards very low and maybe you will not be disappointed. We were expecting at least some minimal level of service and got almost nothing. When we walked in, we asked about credit cards as payment. "Yes, of course!" they said - but it was not until we got the check that they told us it was 20 Euro minimum. Also, they add on a gratuity automatically, which is unfortunate since it was absolutely not deserved. We ordered a snack to go with our beers. Despite what the menu said, they did not have preztels so we ordered potato wedges instead. The server completely forgot about our food, and didn't even bother to apologize when delivering the check. There are so many better places in Vienna for a traditional Viennese casual pub experience. This place is absolutely not worth it, skip it and go elsewhere."

Really expensive food for the small portions. There are farbway better places to eat and drink. The home-made beer is not bad. Service really friendly.

The order comes fast and the food is good. The waitress where very attentive but the waiters where a little rude and only paid attention to tables with single girls.

The food was good not anything special but I would eat there again. I rather liked the old world feeling of the Weiner Stadtbrau. It was cozy. My family and I really enjoyed our meal.

Went there to celebrate Ireland beating Austria in football. Food was good. Our host, Isabella, was excellent. Asking us how we were enjoying the food and the beer and recommending others we could try. you can't beat friendly service.

We stopped here to have a snack and some beers, we enjoyed the house beer but the food is average. We tried rostbratwursten & bier snack which were ok but the chicken basket was horrible. The service wasn't prompt although the place was almost empty at that time.

Not a bad place to sit down and eat for an hour or so and escape from the cold and the crowds around Stephansplatz (it's right in the centre). It looks like nothing from the outside, but when you go in and down it's massive and comfortable. We only went in for coffee and desserts (plentiful and tasty) and were very happy with what we had. Reasonable prices too.

My wife, 2 kids, 2 relatives and I ate dinner here twice in December 2015 during our visit to Vienna. The restaurant is close to Saint Stephens Cathedral. You enter the restaurant and go downstairs. The waiter Sasha was very good and I spoke German with him, I ordered wiener schnitzel from veal (kalb) with potato salad both times. The others enjoyed there food as well. I would recommend this place to anyone in the vicinity of Saint Stephens Cathedral and who wants to have good wiener schnitzel.
