"We were searching along the street and chose badly. I can't blame this cafe for serving brunch on a Sunday morning-they definitely advertised the fact and with only two choices of meals -both the same except a choice of salmon or ham and cheese. If that's what you want -go for it, but it was pretty mass-produced. My toast (with the ham and cheese on it) was burned at the edges. Salad dressing was good."

You can very quickly get addicted to this restaurant especially if you go to the noon...I'm a neighbor and impossible to resist the noon...a very good card when you eat you feel that the cook makes his meals with love: an impecc presentation...the explosive flavors in the mouth agreable...the all arrosed of a good wine. one day taste his brulèe pistachio !!

Had Sunday brunch with family and friends. Options for mains are limited : ham with cheese on a toast or smoked salmon but both are excellent. The potatoes are deliciously done and the vinaigrette for the salad special too. Decor is that of a traditional French bistro. Service is efficient and smily. Chez Prune was one of the first on Canal St Martin but is still very good.
