Ordered a takeaway best ever, had a friend over from Cheltenham he loved the lamb curry everything fresh and warm.

Had food here in and at home. The prawn balti daal was full of salt and totally inedible. It was as though the salt pot had been emptied into the meal.

Just wanted to say if anyone wants to have high class restaurant class Indian food delivered to the door than look no further than Chillie of Barnsley Excellent food and excellent service View menu

good menu and price is just right. not the cheapest, but in any case they get what they pay. we have eaten here several times and I would recommend it to anyone who asks for a decent curry.

Xmas works do Friday night. The service was excellent! It was a set menu (which they didn’t tell us when we booked). You can order from a Chilli or The Grille whichever side of the restaurant you are seated at. I had the pate, burger then brownie. All were lovely.

I visited here with my partner and her sister and her husband last night for the Groupon Indian Tapas deal. The food was amazing and the bill was very reasonably priced for the extra food and drinks that we ordered on top. The staff are very attentive and friendly and we will be back again often! A very small gathering due to Lockdown. Restaurant practically empty on the Chilli side bit looked busier on the Grille side which suited us. All staff wore face masks and it felt safe. Food was good and you do have the choice of the Grille menu if you so wish. Everything was lovely and would recommend especially in the current circumstances.

We ordered a takeaway and it was delivered cold. The non vegetable starter was cold, sweet and floury. The chicken jalfrezi was something else. I have never had this dish so sweet, even Willie Wonka or Buddy the elf would pass. No spice in this dish just a sweet marmalade flavour. All of our takeaway is now in the bin and we’re having to order somewhere else.

Due to household isolation we decided to order first time on Barnsley eats and we are not disappointed when we ordered from our favourite restaurant, Chilli and there was no difference between the quality we have in the restaurant to the food we have delivered today. Thank you so much the team in Chilli for all your hard work during COVID times. Would highly recommend the takeaway and delivery service. View menu
