"I had Mahmudul as my waiter at this restaurant and he was friendly and attentive. I ordered chicken Madras with pilau rice, a plain keema naan, and some poppadoms to start. For a drink, I had a refreshing glass of Coca-Cola with lemon. The curry was delicious, and even though the portions looked small, they were just the right size for me. The rice was cooked perfectly and the poppadoms were fresh and crispy, not greasy like some other places. The dips that came with them were also tasty and fresh. To finish off my meal, I had a Double Espresso which was dark, thick, and strong - just what I needed. They also had a tempting dessert menu, but I was too full to try anything. For those who enjoy Indian beer, they had Kingfisher draft on tap, which pairs perfectly with curry. They also had other beer options for those who prefer something else, as well as a selection of spirits."

Food was fairly bland. Lal Bagh in nearby Bourn is much, much better. Food is excellent, classy decor, waiters are well dressed. Everything that Chutney Joe's isn't.

I have ordered from two other restaurants in Bourn and Papworth before, but I can honestly say that these guys offer the same high-quality food with far superior service and value. Excellent.

Absolutely delicious food! I had the chicken tikka balti and.my husband had a Nepalese dish. Both were tasty and served quickly. We had 2 poppadoms, 2 main meals, rice and naan, a drink each and the bill was £42, which was great value for money. Would definitely recommend

have been sitting here a couple of times with work and also taken along. also good service and very accomodation for the nutritional requirements, in my case vegetarian. often when we went, we would be the only one there, so a bit awkward initially I felt. overall it is not the best place I have ever eaten, but does the job

I paid £32 for chicken tikka, onion bhaji, rice, and garlic naan. I found a long hair in my food which completely turned me off from eating the rest of it. The rice was stodgy and the chicken was dry. It was a waste of money. Normally, this restaurant is very good, but I will not be returning. I took photos of the hair to show that it was too long, curly, and a different color than mine. They also said my order would be ready in half an hour, but it arrived just 5 minutes later, indicating that it was not freshly cooked.

It is with regret that I must bring to your attention several shortcomings in the dining experience I recently had. Firstly, the absence of chutney, which we had to specifically request, was a notable oversight. The calamari, when consumed, gave the impression of consuming an undernourished squid. Lacking in substance and flavour, the Duck Tikka, unfortunately, was devoid of any discernible taste, leaving much to be desired. Furthermore, the portion of rice provided was insufficient for two individuals to share comfortably. The cheese naan, upon examination, contained a negligible amount of cheese, falling short of expectations. Despite these disappointments, the Coca-Cola provided was satis...
