"Par for the course, because asking for Mexican food in the middle of rural Germany is an ask for the moon and requires a huge stretch of the imagination. NOTE: This Mexican restaurant doesn 't serve tacos. The food was a doctored up way of presenting German-style entrees with something approaching Mexican flair... if you are feeling generous. For example, they have a series of Baked Potato topped with different meats, pick between beef or chicken or vegetarian. I would just called that a loaded baked potato in the States. They have a series of burgers, with barely even a Tex-Mex twist. They offer steak, enchiladas, and burritos, which are basically wraps which you can pull off with bland stuffings and underwhelming sauces. Don 't be looking for chipotle, fresh jalapenos, salsa picante, or crema, or even proper pulled adobo pork. Don 't be looking for melted cheese, or for spicy pork stews. Their spicy sauce was good ol ' Louisiana Tabasco. On top of it all, the kitchen was slow and haphazard. We waited a good 45 minutes for a Yucatan salad (it had guacamole in it! and a baked potato entree. I 'm just going to leave it as a disappointing food destination but standard polite and professional service. Colorful bar and decent place to get a drink."

"Wir hatten uns gefreut am Silvesterabend noch einen Tisch zu bekommen . Dort angekommen wurden wir durch einen sehr gemütlichen Raum mit Kamin in einen Nebenraum, sehr ungemütlich, an unseren Tisch gebracht. Auf dem Tisch lag eine Speisekarte mit einigen Speisen z.B Schweineschnitzel mit Pommes, Rinderroulade mit Kloß und Rotkohl und noch einige andere Gerichte incl. Salatbufett und Dessert ab 43,00 € völlig überteuert. Wir haben der Servicemitarbeiterin unseren Unmut kundgetan und haben das Lokal verlassen. Eine Kleine Info zum Preis der Speisen )am Telefon wäre nett gewesen ."

"Nice ambience, annoying service. Bored, disinterested and just not good, unfortunately the food just doesn't taste good either. It's neither a restaurant nor a snack bar, Tk things taste thawed, the price is star restaurant. Short conclusion, it was the first and last visit. Ps. Preparing and collecting food after smoking without cleaning your hands gives the whole thing a perfect rounding off. Thank you and see you never again."

"Im Rahmen eines Tagesausflugs nach Bad Rothenfelde haben wir das Siedehaus mittags aufgesucht. Wir trafen ein angenehmes Ambiente und einen aufmerksamen Service an. Die Speisekarte ist nicht zu umfangreich (das ist gut! , aber trotzdem sollte für alle Geschmäcker etwas dabei sein. Uns jedenfalls hat es gut geschmeckt mit einer Einschränkung: Der zum Lachs gereichte wilde Spargel hat nur SEHR KURZ die Pfanne gesehen und war dementsprechend sehr hart. Verkochtes Gemüse ist nicht schön, aber gegart sollte es schon sein. Der Service hat die Kritik aufgegriffen und es gab den Espresso aufs Haus."

"Leider ein ganz schlechter Service,beim Verkauf am Fenster. Zum zweiten Mal, innerhalb einer Woche,stellt man mir das Schild vor die Nase,kein Außerhaus Verkauf. Da ich mich echt auf so eine Pommes gefreut habe,bin ich Mega Sauer. Eigentlich gehe ich immer hinein,und Esse dort Burger,die auch sehr gut sind. Aber das ist jetzt erstmal durch. Geht überhaupt nicht so ein Service. Dann einfach das Fenster Geschlossen lassen,wenn man es nicht Bewältigen kann. Meine Familie und mich, wird man dort nicht mehr Antreffen."
