"This place came highly recommended as a great breakfast/brunch spot so we patiently waited for about 30-40 mins to get a table. Once seated, we waited patiently again to get the menu which was in French and seemed extremely complicated. We used Google Translator but even that had a hard time understanding the concept of the menu. We asked the waiter to translate but he had a hard time explaining so we went for a breakfast menu (simple enough); tea/coffee/juice/bread/jams etc and a 'Classy' brunch. The food was nice although not what I was expecting. The selection of pastries made on site were fabulous and all looked amazing. The spoiler here was the waiting, great if you're after a long leisurely brunch - it all seemed a bit disorganised."

It was over and it was good to eat comfortably in a large place. Why do Parisians like to eat in a small place.

discovery during a walk on the side of saint placide. The most delicious, original and generous pastries! Bravo! I'll come back on purpose, but also to try the brunch that's the most tempting!

After reading that this place offered one of the best brunches in Paris, we had to give it a shot. Save your time and stop at any cafe instead. Really not sure why the hype. Cute spot but the tables and chairs aren't really designed for anyone over 12, and the food -- although somewhat creative -- is just average. Inexplicably, the pastries just aren't that good either. Cannot recommend.

fell on no chance for lunch from noon.See the young working the products in the showcase has a nice and terribly reassuring side when to the quality of the products. Home and service very attentive, very pleasant and relaxing frame...ca makes you want to rest.Very good food even if the entrance would deserve to be a bit more consistent...a saving break that changes very pleasantly from the noisy street corners or you listen to pass the car. I like how the menu is structured ... All brunch start the same, a first part that includes the basics .. hot beverage, juice, and pastries. Followed by 4 different options of complete meals ... I chose the "classy" one ... including a peas salad starter... follow by a main dish of rice and meat ... all in gastronomic style ... my second half got the "smiley" one ... spaghetti for the fun ... in short ... a brunch as it should be ... in Paris style ...

On a Sunday morning our family of 4 (three sisters and a niece) took a chance and went to Colorova for brunch without a reservation. We were very luck to find a table as the place was fully booked right thereafter. We found the quality of the brunch - which is not buffet-style as in the USA but from a set menu - very high. It has an Indian gist to the savory dishes. The staff were super accommodating when my niece did not feel like eating straight away and let he order and choose in her own time - very nice. Prices outrageous but there is no escape in that 'hood.
