"What an amazing meal. Convivium has become one of my new favourite places. I have to travel a lot for business and spend a great deal of time on my own. I apologize that I know no Italian but the staff at Convivium made sure to make me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food. Well probably one of my best meals in the city. The octopus salad delicious. The warm octopus complimented with the cold vegetables brought out the flavour of the spices and oils used. I had the seafood pasta. The quantity of seafood again complimented with spices and a red sauce was tantalizing to all senses. I was not going to have dessert but in the end I had the pistachio tartufo. I would go back just for that. I must also point out the knowledge of the staff on wine. Not knowing much about the European wines on the menu I asked for help selecting one based on what I wanted and they did not fail to deliver. I could have stayed there the entire evening enjoying the wine, food and atmosphere. I was not rushed to leave but the evening ended way too soon. I will be returning regularly and bringing my guests who visit to this restaurant."

Gradevole ristorante con splendida decorazione. Ottimo servizio. Prezzo leggermente elevato. Deliziosa creme Brulée, stupenda Cotoletta alla Milanese.

Terrible experience. Chewy and untasty pizza. This was my 7th pizza in approx. 5 days 2 countries and this was the worst one. I tought that it is not possible to get bad pizza in Italy, but I was wrong. Also, nobody asked about food and there was other issues with service.

Food was good, but not exceptional, my pasta was overcooked, the main (sea bass) lacked flavour. For a 55-60 euro per person (for 2 dishes, wine excluded) kind of restaurant I would expect perfectly made plates. Great wine list though, fairly priced. The location is great, and the ambience very good. I liked the service. View menu

We’ ve tried a number of restaurants in Milan and so far we’ve not experienced any restaurant that met up to our expectations of quality of food and something that is quite rare in Milan, a sense of being treated as a paying customer. But here we had an experience of both. I can highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, you will not regnet it!

We was recommended this restaurant by the reception whilst staying in a nearby hotel. Was not sure at 1st as some of the meals look expensive, but there is a full mixed menu and pizzas from about 10e. What we had was well delivered and of an excellent standard. The restaurant has a lovely feel to it and seems to be used by a lot of locals which is a good sign.

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
