ended our holiday by dining outdoors in this restaurant. Excellent dishes well cooked using good raw materials. abundant portions. we have tasted mixed meats, vegetable soup (excellent dumplings with sausage and phenol choke. Good the barber that accompanied lunch. to return.

this place is a certainty in the area, being able to lever on a more than good cuisine inspired especially by local traditions. the service can be improved especially thanks to a greater attention to the needs of all customers. For example, leaving aside who smokes compared to others.

Good food, especially rolled rabbit and pasta; egg yolk was nice touch, but tartufo was stale and little aroma. Secondi were ok, meat nicely done, but boring, American contorni (broccoli, carrot, potato), which were identical on two different dishes: also boring. Worst of all: unwelcoming, cold, impersonal, unfriendly service. 4 for food, 2 for service, 3 average.

I have been numerous times to this restaurant and I have never been disappointed! Always excellent quality, a varied and ever changing menu, and professional and fast service. Many friends have visited Moncalvo and tried out The Corona. Their feedback has always been very positive. It’s probably one of the best value for money and consistently good restaurants that I know of. Can’t recommend it enough!

This is a bit of a pricier option but the use of ingredients and the different options are worth it. I would recommend looking at the menu before you go as it seems to change with the seasons, and I would also recommend reserving because it seems quite full even for lunch on a Saturday. They also have a beautiful terrace with a view, so ask when you reserve. Definitely a place to try if you stop in Moncalvo.

We had a delicious lunch that included Vitello Tonatto, artichoke salad, and one of the items off the menu. The vitello was excellent and the tuna sauce light and flavorful. The artichoke salad with cheese and black truffle was fantastic. Wonderful selection of wine both local and from further afield. Pasta dishes were great — linguine with octopus. Tagliata was well cooked and a big portion. Excellent coffee served with delicious small cookies. If you are in Moncalvo, this is tha place to go!
