"Ich war einzig zum Frühstück im cote jardin und war schockiert. Über den Style kann man sich streiten, ich finde Gartenmöbel in einem Restaurant Innenbereich schwierig, der Chlorgeruch und das feuchtwarme Klima hingegen fand ich störend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist schön, jedoch für ein 5-Sterne Hotel ungenügend. Der Kaffee kommt aus der Maschine, d.h. ein Cappuccino mit wenig Schaum kann nicht gemacht werden. Ich habe mir dann den Schaum selber abgeschöpft und die halbe Tasse mit heisser Milch aufgefüllt. Die Antwort vom Personal war einzig, dass dies nicht gehe. Des Weiteren sassen wir die ganze Zeit vor den schmutzigen Tellern, da das Personal damit beschäftigt war, das Buffet abzubauen. Die Omelette war ebenfalls nicht gut (trocken und mit einer komischen Konsistenz). Als Absolvent der Hotelfachschule Lausanne habe ich zwar hohe Ansprüche, so etwas hätte ich aber von einem Lausanne Palace nicht erwartet! Ganz im Gegensatz zum cote jardin ist hingegen der Service und das Ambiente in der LPs Bar im Erdgeschoss vom Palace ausgezeichnet und immer wieder einen Besuch wert."

Gutes Essen, aber keine ideenreiche Küche, da das Personal nicht zuvorkommend war, fühlten wir uns in dem doch schönen Ambiente (Terrasse) nicht wohl.

I have two times breakfast staying at the Lausanne Palace Spa hotel. The breakfast was excellent the service is good is not disappointing. The price for breakfast is 40 swiss franks.

Mein Mann hat Plastik gegessen. Wir haben Plastik in der Suppe gefunden. Und das andere Stück ist ein großes Stück Knoblauchgroßes Plastik. (Endlich haben wir 3 Stück bekommen) Dies ist bei dem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel nicht der Fall.

Me and a friend decided to have breakfast at 08:00 on a Sunday morning even though we weren't staying at the hotel. The fruits, vegetables as well as the bacon, sausages, omelets, etc were fresh and well prepared. The service was very attentive and knew when to take our empty plates away. I'll certainly have breakfast meetings here again. Note: they open the breakfast as early as 07:30 IIRC
