"We were very happy to find this restaurant and its dishes, Wednesday 11 October 2023, for our couple lunch, after our first visit, 11 years earlier in August 2012. What a pleasure to see that from the reopening of this restaurant after annual holidays until October 10th, the kitchen team has been able to offer us dishes with impeccable flavors and excellent products, such as this delicious plate of Saint-Jacques sauce Normande, served only from October, gage of freshness and authenticity, so! The Saumon's plate with a string is generous, and allows you to taste a marvel, with slices offering you chewing in the mouth (not slices worthy of cigarette leaves or bad promotion of supermarket as during the holidays of the year! and a smoke bringing an incomparable and unforgettable taste... just like the Saint James and their sauce that I had not forgotten for 11 years! Add to this an impeccable service, in simplicity, which makes you feel at once at ease, while being attentive and attentive, with, as a bonus, the happiness of being able to have lunch in front of the sea thanks to a merciful weather for our coming. It was for us a real moment of happiness, reunions with an establishment and its serious teams, which leads us to find some uncomprehensible comments from some very severe contributors, which obviously did not enjoy a tasting of very good products in all simplicity, in an environment without chichis or cracks sometimes well artificial and misleading! With this establishment of Veulettes, we have personally fallen under the charm, because it does not need to put you full of sight or to use bling-bling subterfuges to delight you the palace... which can hardly be avoided on some more hooked stations and less good children, such as in Etretat! Take advantage of this good table, get out of the beaten paths of the mussels-frites, taste their fabulous Saint-Jacques and their accompaniments very well worked and so tasteful... Returning to Upper Normandy this year for our off-season annual holidays, this restaurant was obviously part of our program, and the kitchen team, having managed to keep the excellent bases of the cuisine already appreciated in 2012, so we filled, as well as all the people at the service... and of course, we will return! "We have already arrived several times at the Frégates, both at the hotel and at the restaurant. The location is simply exceptional. There are few places in the area where you can enjoy such a panoramic view of the sea, both to sleep and to eat. The hotel and the restaurant are located outside the passages, so it is perfect for people looking for calm. When it is beautiful, the tables are installed outside, facing the sea. We can have a drink or lunch. We are then at the first lodges to enjoy sunset in the sea. Excellent value for money and a very friendly reception. In the summer, it is essential to book the restaurant several days in advance to hope to have a place."

"We went to this good restaurant yesterday 14 July!! Very friendly and friendly staff! We booked for the evening. . we wanted to eat at the restaurant next to the base but no room and they looked overflowed on the phone and not open to finding a solution to satisfy us The chaloupe in spite of the world and the rush of the noon during my call they were very kind and we reserve a table for the evening...And beh so much better because we have feasted in La chaloupe!!! Fish and chips just delicious!! Fries a feast! The burger too!! And an excellent plum pie!! Home! Fresh products and great service!! A little wait but it's the holidays we had time!! Thank you for your commercial gesture for waiting!! We recommend you and hope to come back to Normandy to eat in your restaurant!!"

"Après avoir lu des avis positifs sur ce restaurant, nous y sommes allées pour diner. Nous n'avions pas réservé donc pas droit aux tables de devant avec vue mer... soit !! On nous installe à la dernière table, au fond de la salle !! J'avais pris un menu et mes filles, à la carte. Attente très longue pour être servies, temps perdu entre chaque plat : les serveurs font des allers retours pour rien au lieu de verifier si il n'y a pas qqch à reprendre sur les tables voisines , ou de prendre une commande !! Ma fille avait pris la meme entrée que moi mais hors menu pour elle... Elle a reçu la même portion que celle du menu, soit la moitié des trois sortes de préparation de saumon . Economie ?? Pour l'assiette de salade/fromages du menu, je n'ai eu que deux fromages dont un chèvre (que je n'aime pas !!) alors que sur la carte, il y a 4 fromages ! Je fais donc la remarque au serveur en lui suggérant aussi de demander dans ce cas aux clients lesquels ils préfèrent . Le serveur n'eut aucune réaction, comme si ma remarque était inutile. Aucune attention de la part des serveurs."
