"My partner and I ended up at this lovely little restaurant by mistake. We had been out walking all day and were on our way back to our B&B when it started to rain. We ducked inside this restaurant which was tucked away down a not so busy road in a quiet neighbourhood. We checked out the menu which was all in italian but the waiter was so friendly and helpful that he asked us what we liked and then rustled it up. We ordered some garlic bread to start which was quite amusing as looking back it took us a while to work out what to do. Two pieces of bread arrived with a garlic clove on top . Neither of us could understand why garlic bread, famous in italy, would come served as a plain piece of bread with a clove ontop. Whether this is right or not we still dont know, but we doused the bread in olive oil then rubbed the clove over the top to make garlic bread. it was delicious. The mains arrived very quickly afterwards. I had ordered some sort of pasta with mixed fish. This turned out to be big pasta rings cooked in fresh tomatoes and herbs and had big shrimp, mussels, squid and garlic etc in it. It was divine! My partner ordered a carbonara and he said this was delicious too. We also ordered a big bottle of pop to share between us. The restaurant itself is quaint and nicely decorated and i got the impression this is a local restaurant as there were no tourists eating inside. I was surprised to see quite a few flies hovering around in Feb which was a bit off putting as they were trying to get at my food, so maybe they could do with putting a fly trap up. When the bill arrived we were very surprised. We paid a total of 20 odd euro for both our meals, drink and starter which we thought was very cheap. We would definitely eat here again in the future."

We had a pizza dinner here with deep fried olives as the starters both were excellent. The prices were reasonable for Rome. Naturally they had a good selection of wines. There TV at the bar for those wanting to catch a soccer game. View menu

The food at this restaurant is very good, particularly the seafood and the desserts. House wine is inexpensive. It is conveniently located not far from San Giovanni metro station. Extremely good value for money. Booking is advisable for Saturday evenings.

Visited Rome and stayed near this Restaurant. Went there several times in Dinner and after tasting pastas all over in Italy in different places can say that the best Spaghetti Vongole (even better with Tartufo) is in this Restaurant. Can warmly recommend to visit this place and try this incredibly tasteful pasta!

Came here for a family meal as it was close to Apartment from the out side just looks like any other. The service was very good possible a little slow but the food made up for every thing very good quality and good size portions a letter of the house red was on'y 5 euros. Seven of us had meal and drinks for only 15euros each. If you are in the area it's worth calling in. View menu

With it being the week of Ferragosto we found most of the restaurants in this area closed for the week and only stumbled on this by chance. It was good luck indeed as the staff were very welcoming and the food really good from a varied menu. We had nice steaks and pasta dishes with tiramisu, ice cream and the creme caramel that the place is named after. We'll be going back tonight to sample the pizzas

A delightful restaurant hidden outside of Rome proper. In a quiet neighborhood worth the trip. Opens around 7:30pm for dinner only. Restaurant has outside seating but our group of 4 sat inside below sidewalk level. The food is yummy. Family run delicious traditional Italian food. We visited twice, trying various plates. Try the mussels for an appetizer. Waitress speaks some English but it was fun to try our Italian when ordering. Friendly place, good desserts, too!
