"This creperie is tucked away in one of the small street leading down to the river from the principal street of the medieval city. Creperies are great places to eat in France especially for a fairly quick and enjoyable meal. There is the usual menu which includes savoury and sweet pancakes and ice creams. Good house wines - red and rose only. The savoury pancakes are named after historical characters; being English I couldn't face a Phillipe-Augustus but an Agnes Sorrel, tasty in more ways than one, proved excellent. It was made with chicken rather than lamb, however!. Excellent food and pleasant, efficient service. Some have found the service slow but the pancakes are made to order and, anyway, we're here to relax, not rush to get back to work."

Really lovely galettes! Great for family, putting up with our screaming toddler. Small and quaint, hidden in a really beautiful part of town.

Got exactly what we were looking for. Crepes with fresh ingredients and service with a smile. We don't speak French and it didn't matter. Kind and cheerful waitstaff. Outside seating. Wines and beer. Easy to find.

They do a fine job here, nothing fancy but that's not why you go to a creperie. The 14EUR formule is a great deal, especially for being at tourist ground zero, in the shadow of the castle and with great views of La Maison Rouge).

This is a small cozy restaurant which serves only crepes and ommels and a few simple salads. I had a crepe filled with creamed spinach and goat cheese which was excellent . They also have desert crepes. Good value. Friendly, quiet, popular.

We had a very pleasant lunch sitting outside with a view of the surrounding buildings. The umbrella was key since the sun was a bit searing. Both galettes we ordered were great and they came with a small green salad. I would recommend for lunch. Service was great.

Very good creperie in the old part of Chinon. Simple decor and menu, good range of traditional, artisan and contemporary galette and crepe fillings. Very good quality food. Good service. Probably above average prices but worth it given quality and in a touristy area.

We had a late lunch after visiting the fortress and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waitress was excellent. Fun and encouraging of our poor French. Would definitely recommend it. We tried both both the galettes and the gratin and couldn't fault either the quality or price of the meal

Ooh la la! We had such a wonderful lunch at this romantic little spot in the centre of Chinon. I highly recommend the gallets made with savoury fillings as well as a cider that you drink from a porcelain cup. Dessert was also fabulous- a sweet crepe with salted caramel and chantilly filling!!!!

We visited at lunchtime on a Sunday and enjoyed a very nice meal. All of the options were tempting but my wife and I settled on the Sainte-Radegonde savory crepe (actually called a galette ble noir on the menu) with a variety of cheeses, and one sweet crepe (appropriately the Grand Carroi) to share. Both were excellent, as was the local cider we chose to accompany them. Service was attentive and it was a pleasure to watch our meal being prepared a few feet away.
