"I regularly go to the crown for eating and drinks and am never disappointed. tracy, james and beck are all fantastic and offer every time consistently great and fast service, nothing is ever too much to ask. my personal favourite dish is the Korean.Hun on the Starter menu and the thinnest pommes are also delicious. Sunday roasts are also an absolute hit, portion sizes are perfect for me and I especially like the yorkshire puddings. there is also a large selection of gins that I like to enjoy in the beautiful garden when the sun seems. my hubby enjoys a pint and says that the lines are beautiful and clean. could not ask for a better local pub. thanks tracy!"

Delaying the booking due to travel issues took a brief phone call, they were happy to oblige. The greeting on arrival was genuine and the service was attentive, friendly and timely. The food was a delight, I can recommend the squid and the sea bass....The mixed grill was sizeable and utterly delicious.

Visited the crown inn saturday 9th April, service was very good by Lucy, who was covering many of the tables. However portion sizes have reduced and quality of steak and gammon not as good as usual . We use this restaurant on a regular basis,...i know people have to make cut backs but over £17 for a sirloin steak you do expect a decent portion size.

We visited the Crown today with our 1 year old and had such a lovely time. The food was delicious (one trio of roasts, one roast beef with veg swapped out for extra potatoes and we all enjoyed it . The side of cauliflower cheese...was particularly tasty. Our little boy tried bits of everything and was a very satisfied customer. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, which on a Sunday one might not expect, and the service was great. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we will definitely be back.
