Small place with excelent authentic italian food and wine. Do not expect pizza there. Patrons are buying fresh, so there is daily changing menu but there i always something for everybody fish, vegetarian, meat etc. Excelent starters. Great selection of wines.

Small perfect restaurant, where you can enjoy true italian food, prepared at true italian way. Oustanding place where to enjoy the italian atmosphere, combining food, wine and italian courtesy. It is not cheap but it is worth the money, once a while to enjoy true...italian way.

Das Cultivino bietet eine kleine aber feine Karte sowie eine große Schiefertafel auf der die Tagesgerichte geschrieben sind. Es ist alles frisch und schmackhaft und typisch römisch. We (two couples) ate here for dinner. We were lucky enough to sit outside under the grapevines. Our amazement at the fresh, quality of the food was only equaled by the hospitality we were shown even though we had never been there before. We left...full, and fully intending to make this a must stop on future visits to Wiesbaden.

Great little place! The menu is only on the Blackboard they show you, with exception of apps. All was delicious and so inexpensive! You will get your workout walking up a very steep hill, but rewarded with a very good Italian cuisine at a very...reasonable price!! My only semi-regret was not asking for the wine list. The house wine was good, but could use more structure. But still...I'm being too picky. Go here and enjoy! And if you speak Italian, they will love you!!

if you are in Wiesbaden....don't miss this place... authentic...charming and very very good food....I took two good looking and charming ladies to the restuarant and we really enjoyed the evening...the fish (dorade filet was exquisite.... I had the home made pasta with porcini mushrooms...and Parma ham...this was the best I ever had in my life .....we started with the house red and went for the Primitivo as the second red......wonderful....... come and see for yourself..... Leicht erhoben in den Hügeln oberhalb der Wiesbadener Innenstadt liegt das Cultivino. Dennoch ist es gut zu Fuß und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Klein aber fein, sehr überschaubare Karte, die aber hervorragend ausgewählt ist. Spannendes tagesaktuelles Angebot. Das präsentierte Essen war von hoher Qualität. Der Service war stets prompt, freundlich und aufmerksam. im Sommer gibt es die Möglichkeit in einem kleinen Vorgarten draußen zu sitzen. Das alles in einem gepflegten Ambiente. Das Preisniveau ist etwas gehoben, kein schneller billiger Italiener.Wer aber in ruhiger Atmosphäre einen schönen und stimmungsvollen Abend verbringen will, der ist hier genau richtig.

What a find! Local friends have been going here for years but it was our first visit on a warm July evening. Sat outside on he modest patio under a canopy of grape vines. Restaurant is Italian owned and operated. The menu is wonderful, but...I would recommend diving in to the daily specials. We started with grilled octopus: fresh, perfectly prepared and seasoned. My wife had the “Seeteufel” (Monkfish) in a white wine sauce. Incredible: lick-your-plate good. I had the anti pasta adorned with a healthy portion of twice-baked eggplant. Schon vor Wochen hatten wir uns gesagt: das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht mehr. Zu hohe Preise für zu kleine und zum Teil versalzene Portionen, auf die man dann auch noch lange warten musste. Wie dem auch sei: wir haben es nochmal probiert und wurden weiterhin enttäuscht. Die Spaghetti Vongole war nicht genießbar und vor allem hat das Muschelfleisch in den kleinen Proportion gefehlt! Ganz offenbar hat der Koch die Muscheln zu sehr geschüttelt, so dass das Muschelfleisch nicht auf dem Teller des Gastes bzw. in der Muschel, sondern bei ihm im Topf geblieben ist.
