"anton seems to be a kind of local fame dining place that is far from the famous restaurants and crowded streets. Nevertheless, it remains a loyal, local customership that is driven for its excellent tripadvisor position and the full tables in a Friday night. from our curiosity we made the walk to the place and were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. the interieur, as previously expected, was a mixture of kitsch and modern to put it cheaply. still we spend a joyous night there, which eats our rich food and really enjoys the warm, local atmosphere of the restaurant and the people who go to visit and work. I have to admit that I understand what people like."

"the owner lives vegan-bio and they can see this! everything is on the point I tried! Best Nuoc Mass sauce and crispy vegan duck are another highlight are the steamed rice crêpes and also some of the day card. I didn't try very kindly nice and simply heart-shaped! They were immersed in a vegan lifestyle. expensive, but very recommended for this organic and vegan it would also be on attempt that is good 2 equal, but another owner and eat there is not good (meaning after updated by previous review on 2022-03-22"

"After one visit, this is officially one of my favourite places in Germany if not on Planet Earth altogether. It's very small, so call ahead if you are going with a group, but I just adore this place. It's bright and well decorated, and it's cakes, cakes, cakes and they're all vegan. (They serve a soup a day or something, and plenty of drinks, but it's essentially cakes). We went as a group and tried five different cakes: 1) Chocolate cake, 2) Chocolate pie (GF), 3) Carrot Cake, 4) A peach crumble and 5) A Faux Cheescake. It is exceptionally rare to go 5/5, but this place did. I had the carrot cake, and it was one of the best (not quite, the best) I've ever had. Moist, rich, delicious. The chocolate pie and cake were both very solid, as was the peach crumble. The faux cheesecake was my least favourite, but even it was at least good Lots of different cakes available, and they make custom orders. Absolute GEM. Do not miss if you are in Cologne. Prices are also very fair. About 3 Euros for a very large slice."

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."

El Gaucho

"Amongst all the places I have been around the world, I must say that I never ate such a good meat in my life. The steak was so tender that you could even cut it without the need of a knife! The portion was quite good as well (400gr) very juicy and perfectly cooked. Good selection of wine and the atmosphere is also very "argentinian" style, with gaucho "accessories" and horse saddles hanging from everywhere. The Service was also good, very friendly waiters. People might think it is a bit pricey but it is definetly worth the money! The grill is placed right at the entrance so you can have a look at the guy grilling this massive pieces of meat on the grill."
