"On holiday you can sleep. For example, during our annual holiday in Cuxland it will be a tradition to visit the cafés of the region. Actually, our destination was the café “Toffoli” in the old town of Cuxhaven, but we had to find that this place was closed in winter. So we went back to the city centre, to the famous café “Da Dalto”. In the beautifully decorated “Da Dalto” there were some free tables. In a small corner bench there was also a little rough lady in front of us. “Because what was found?” – No, we haven’t even opened the map yet. So she wears back and shimmers through the café. The rich card is quickly leafed, and for us it is clear that it should be something fruity. Our group service noticed that we have finished our selection and have come to our place. “But now” was her first sentence. Jaaaa... now we have it after a few minutes. For example, a Café Crema was ordered for €2.80, a Latte Macciato for €2.80 and a chocolate milk with cream for €3.00. As an ice cup we wished two strawberry cups and an fruit cup. We didn't get that ass. We don't have fresh fruit, we could offer the fruit cup with bananas and kiwi at most. All ice cups with fresh fruit are not feasible. What the hell is that? In each supermarket there are fresh fruits and I'm sorry, over half the ice cream card consists of cups with fresh fruits. Then a winter card. So we had to look around, so we had to catch an ice cup “Banana Rustika” for 7.00 € and two “Black Forest Cups”. Bananas and cherries from the glass are available.... After a few minutes, the caffeine-containing drinks and the chocolate were for our little ones at the table, immediately followed by the ice cups. The latte was a stirred milk coffee, the drinking chocolate tasted very watery. The Café Crema was so ok, I was a bit disappointed by the size of the cup. The “Banana Rustika” for our little one was quite large with three different iceballs a ball bonus for the omitted egg liqueur, abundant cream and a very ripe banana in my eyes. Our Black Forest Cup was filled with cherry ice cream, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, few cherries from the glass with fresh cream and a little cherry sauce. The ice itself was quite good, after the curtain it is made in the café itself. Guest rooms and toilets were clean, but there is a fee of € 1.00 for use in toilets that can be calculated on invoice. In the conservatory can be smoked, but this interferes in the restaurant, as the service goes permanently into the conservatory, and every time a neat smoke cloud with purewabbert. Conclusion: We were still very satisfied with our last visit 3 years ago, this was the last visit to the “Da Dalto” for the next years. Unfriendly operation, only half of the map available. The dishes and drinks were not so stupid. Here you rest in the city centre."

Cuxhaven is a coastal gem known for its seafood, especially fresh North Sea fish and shrimp, alongside traditional German dishes like Labskaus, a hearty meat and beetroot stew.
