"The most authentic Italian experience you can find outside of Italy. Da Noi is possibly the most delicious Italian food I have ever had in the UK since I moved here back in 2009. This is a place where the owners run the whole business and everything they do is with pride, passion and love just like high quality family run restaurants in Italy. Now, let's get to the food and drinks! I started off with a gigantic home made light and thin pasta raviolo filled with ricotta cheese and an egg yolk that explodes out when cut in half finished with a porcini mushrooms sauce and truffle oil. The aroma of the porcini and truffle mixed wonderfully with the creaminess of the yolk and the delicious pasta filling. Be aware, you can even order this as a MAIN!!! Together with my starter I ordered a white floral wine from Piemonte called Baratuciat... one word: divine. As a main, I ordered the venison cooked medium rare juicy and tender as it should be, together with a light almond sauce and dauphinoise. Once again, I followed the instructions and gone with the pairing choice, a fruity Barbaresco that enhanced all the flavours on the plate. Amazing. Of course, I had to try a dessert too, so I went for the super traditional Piemontese pudding called Bunet a sort of creme caramel hyped up with coca and amaretti biscuits. Again, hats off. My friend had the same dishes except for the main where he opted for the incredibly succulent and aromatic pheasant. At the end, while sipping an espresso in truly Italian fashion, we had the pleasure to spend some time with owners Valentina, who is the genius mastermind behind the food menu, and Fabrizio, who is incredibly charming and knowledgeable when choosing the wines. Superb authentic northern Italian cuisine. No pizzas on menu, tells you that this is a special culinary experience. Each plate is carefully prepared to give a unique taste appreciation. Wines excellent accompaniment, at a reasonable price. Look forward to summer menu

Excellent authentic Italian restaurant! No similar experiences of genuine Italian fine dining in the north west of England. The excellence in produce choices and cooking craft from Chef Valentina, married with the passion and care of the front of house and husband Fabrizio, result in a wonderful dining experience! Really well done!!

simply delicious food. here at me sung on a laune and was thrilled by how good the food was (winter menu.) the waitress in the service was nice and very helpful, and the owner made pleasant talk with the other diners (only not with me, probably from the uneasy I would definitely recommend da noi chester and would like to go back to try their earlylings menu.

Excellent service and perfect food and wines cannot recommend this place enough, Fabrizio is the perfect host and Valentina is the most amazing chef and not forgetting the rest of the brilliant staff. If you appreciate authentic regional Italian food (not stereotypical generic Italian you can get anywhere or americanised italian) and rare and amazing piedmont Italian wines you will love this place

what a great experience! we were looking for a beautiful place to dinner and found the perfect Italian restaurant. eating in da noi means eating authentic Italian food from the northern region italia, presented in modern fashion, beautiful arranged. the owner was very welcoming although we had a bigger dog with us. the waiter was very polite, cordial and thoughtful. although the restaurant is located near the historic center, it is not a typical for this type of area, but is characterized by. thanks again for us!

Beautiful restaurant. Quality of food was exceptional. Boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dessert, frangipane. We discovered how basil clotted cream went so well with the lemon tart. It was a dessert I've never tasted before and was highly impressed with how delicious it was. The tart was like a dense sponge cake, yet so moist and sweet. Also refreshing with the cream, but not too empowering. Staff and customer service was excellent, felt very welcomed as soon as we entered. Highly recommend for those seeking a fancy meal out in Chester.
