"This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Rome so much so that I am almost reticent to review it instead of keeping it a secret! It is in Piazza San Ignazio, across from San Ignazio (the church of Saint Ignatius), but somehow,...it feels off the beaten path and is not touristy. Each time I am there, I am the only one speaking English (to my husband it's certainly not on the menu or in the air This makes for an authentic, relaxing, delicious Roman meal each time without breaking the bank at a boutique restaurant. Whether it is Roman classics like cacio e pepe or amatriciana, or a bottle of the house wine with some mozzarella and vegetables, everything is beautifully prepared and beyond delicious. You can sit in a gorgeous piazza and watch the world go by, enjoy the chatter of locals at lunch or dinner, and feel truly immersed in a more casual, truly Italian setting. The staff is also very hospitable and clearly takes pride in the community they've built around this restaurant."

Piazza meravigliosa, camerieri simpaticissimi e cibo squisito. Davvero gradevole. A colpo sicuro

Overpriced tourist trap. The service is terrible and the lady who runs the place has a bad attitude when we went to pay.

the pizza was okay, but the bill was not. they betrayed us and deceived us. the bill was written on a paper by hand (pay them control? not a scontrino, they tried to calculate us much more than in the menu. very bad experience.

the restaurant fools you and cheats you. we ordered two ham one melone (Menu price per) two salat of season (Menu price per), a bottle of house wine (Menu price and a bottle of water (unpriced). while we waited, they served. the baloon brot and the dead. the salate of the season was over boiled vegetables. very tasyeless. the bill: I close the broth and the water was that they fool you and cheat you. don't go there. restaurant located in a beautiful square, in the center of roma, with a really suggestive atmosphere. typical Roman cuisine, excellent veal tip and amatriciana! fast and courteous service, welcome you with bruschettes and supplied offered by them and greet you with other homemade treats! good value for money, recommended! at the end I recommend the visit of the church of Sant’Ignazio, often open even in the evening, lovely!

I would really love this place, the setting can not beat, the eating is good and some of the waiters are very nice. that said I still have a huge surcharge that they've hit on my bill last time. this was not the standard small fee for brot, which would be normal and not a problem. this was the supplement of about to pct to the bill, which is absolutely not the practice here in italia and is not seen elsewhere here. (I live here in rom sad, the same happened with an Italian friend of mine here. When I go to typing what I do, I want to do it with my choice and not be taken for a ride on this wise. it is really shocking that they do that, no one else in the city does that.
