Daily Bread - Menu

We've not been to the daily bread for a while, but it was just as good as ever this morning. I went with my husband and 2 year old daughter, they have high chairs and a well priced children's menu. We all had a delicious breakfast, mostly home-made and locally sourced. Would highly recommend

As one of a pair of ecologists who'd been out at 4 am to pull in insect data we visited after a two year gap. We will have to find other reasons for being in the area so as to visit more often. One full breakfast and one veggie breakfast and then cake, we'd been up 5 hrs by then, two happy bunnies . . . So don't take my word do find out for yourself!!

Daily Bread is a lovely café and bakery located in Rusthall village. The menu offers a combination of delicious classics and unique dishes, all prepared to a high standard. The restaurant does not open early enough or on time. I went this morning at 8:45 and it was still not open. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. The breakfast options are pretentious and expensive, but the coffee is good and the staff is lovely. It's a shame that it could be so much better. They lost four customers this morning alone because they were not open.

Had lunch with my 2 children. Made to feel very welcome, excellent choice for my 5 year old (who loved her sausage sandwich) I had the creamy mushrooms on toast (the bread is delicious) the service was friendly and the whole place felt very Covid safe. I often get the takeaway sandwiches but it was a real treat to eat in and try something new. Thank you Joe and team it was great

We enjoyed a fabulous time at Daily Bread for their new venture of a Cocktails Tapas Evening... The Inimitable Soraya hosting this evening in her warm, welcoming and thoroughly capable way ably assisted by excellent cohorts, Elise and Henry making the most delicious, inventive cocktails. Happened to be in Rusthall around lunchtime so popped into Daily Bread. Pleasantly surprised to find searing out the back. We were just too late for the cooked breakfast so opted for chicken bacon sandwiches. Not really a sandwich, more a main meal between two slices of crusty bread. The herby mayo changed it from a good sandwich to an excellent one – made even better by the scent of the herb garden we were sat next to. Coffee was good too. Staff friendly and chatty. Will be back again.

After visiting a couple of times since they opened I was looking to escape the home office and wandered in for a coffee (always excellent . After reading the menu I decided to order a swiss cheese, beetroot and sauerkraut toastie. This arrived presented with a 'proper ' side salad. Everything was excellent, the combination really 'worked ' and despite some concerns I 'd never finish it I did : The Daily Bread is probably our local little secret but seeing as all the tables were occupied there 's clearly enough local support from those 'in the know '.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant on Friday night for burger night with our friends. I was hoping for a good meal because I had breakfast here before, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! I can confidently say that the food was gourmet quality, easily 5 stars. I would choose to come here over The Ivy for a tasty chicken burger and truffle fries. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was impeccable. The staff kept us informed on timing and made sure we had everything we needed.
