"We were invited by my wifes mother to this restaurant and boy were we in for a treat! The ambience is very fine dining yet casual. The staff were friendly and offered a great dining experience, without being overbearing or intrusive.Nearly all of us opted for the dish of the day, Venison with red wine sauce and we were all delighted with it. My wife opted for the Australian beef fillet and was equally impressed. We weren't going to have dessert, but the friendly waiter offer us an option we couldn't refuse, a mix platter of each of the desserts - quite clever and of good value; Creme Brûlée, Banoffee Pie, Tonka bean mousse and 3 balls of sorbet, shared between all 5 of us, this was just the right portion and everyone got to try everything.I would highly recommend Das Esszimmer to anyone looking for a quality meal while in or near Celle."

definitiw one of the best restaurants in celle. a young team serves courageous kitchen and matching wee. this level is more likely to be found in berlin or hamburg. View menu

had been fed there in the evening with my wife in juli 2017. the atmosphere we felt as pressing; dark and too small tables with small distances to the side tables. my wife didn't like the dry and hard barbaric escape breast at all.

they really feel very comfortable in the dining room as they feel like friends in the dining room. the foods are very high quality and the menu also changes depending on the season. the personal is very friendly and goes on to request special.

we were there on Saturday 26 juli and had a nice evening. very nice, attentive and personal service, a beautiful table outside and of course an excellent eating. small, but fine card with ingenious food that they do not get all days, cooked with love and engagement. next visit in the cellar the dining room a mandatory date! a very good restaurant in the high price level. the ambiente is modern and at the same time to feel comfortable. the card offers a wide variety of choices, although it is not very extensive it sits but certainly something for every taste. the service is very nice and accommodating and advises a very competent. the food is well-proven and the portions are so that even space remains for one of the super delicious desserts. simply round class and recommended.

We were fortunate to make a short notice reservation due to a cancellation and we were not disappointed and now know why you will need to book. Absolutely top class food, fantastically cooked. A small but targeted menu which offered something for everyone. Fabulous service. Great wines. And I will say it again great local food. The setting was unobtrusive like as the name suggests eating in your ess zimmer but classy with great attention to detail. Overall a place to go for a special occasion as the prices do reflect the high quality of the food, setting and service. We will be coming back.

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."
