"thanks to a advice I have discovered this little jewel in the region jura and really enjoyed my dinner there. very convenient location, either with the car large parking lot or with the train station directly opposite the house. I sat in the “Salle à manger” room, which gives a cozy and relaxed feeling. who wants a lighter meal or just a few drinks can also sit in the “Brasserie” part or the terrace. a huge thumb to the renter and her waitress for the attentive and really friendly service during dinner. of course, everything is immaculately clean. la clef is proud of homemade dishes “Fat maison” and produced by local suppliers. as a starter, I had served the marinated trout with a green boil mousse. light and delicious perfect for a summer evening. as the main course I decided to have the kalb cordon bleu with a local note, as it was filled with tête de moine cheese from the nearby bellelay: tasty and quite generously portion! as sweet, I pampered with celestial choux bakery. interestingly, the wein menu also includes several biodynamic weine. on the lower side, the Swiss always had a high price structure, even on the land, and la clef is no exception. the bill amounted to CHF97 not to the budget of all, but the excellent food and services are worth it."

Rien de recommandable, différence de plats dans un même menu, exemple : le plat express (l'assiette express, steak de boeuf grillé beurre café de Paris frites et salade, quelques assietes avec une grande différence de contenu, rien de recommandable. View menu

We went to eat for the first and last time in this restaurant, expensive for what we know, homemade cordon bleu, breadcrumbs too thick, very little cheese inside and no taste, and cooked in the ftitteuse, three vegetables on the plate and fries without salt. And a lot of flies hovering around you, very unpleasant.

Auf dem Weg zum Etang de la Gruère haben wir zufällig hier zu Mittag gegessen. Freundlicher, speditiver Service. Das Essen war gut bürgerlich, frisch zubereitet: Gemischter Salat, 2 Plätzli, Pommes, Gemüse (Broccoli, Rüebli, Zucchetti, Kohlräbli), Dessert (Zitronenchüechli, mit Brom-/Heidel-/Himbeeren garniert) Fr. 26.50.

"The road is long and winding, whichever direction you come from, but the restaurant is well signposted (yellow signs; if you don 't see one just carry on straight ahead).Watch out for horses on the road, and note the lovely old dry stone walls around the fields. The restaurant is well known locally and makes a popular halt for riders, hikers and collectors of vintage cars. Several dining rooms in rustic style. Outside is a children 's playground, and a flock of curious goats. Extremely friendly and cheerful welcome, very convivial. We had a reasonably priced fixed menu of mixed salad which you season yourself from one of two small milk churns of dressing, jambon à l 'os (generous serving of ham cooked on the bone) served with chips (fries) or röstis the best I have ever eaten, pan fried in nothing but butter and a choice of desserts I had the icecream with damassine, a fruit brandy. For those who don 't want ham, you can have a cheese platter, or choose from the à la carte menu which did not have any fish, just steak, fillet, lamb and various other meats, to be ordered by weight 100g, 200g etc. Compared with the ham I thought the prices were expensive. The waitress was a bit disappointed that some of us asked for mustard; she said the ham was tasty and juicy enough to enjoy without, but she brought two kinds to the table Swiss commercial brands in tubes. Note that röstis take a long time to cook properly to their succulent golden crispness, and if there are more than two of you ordering, there might be a wait. As they serve mainly meat, I think it would be a good idea to bring in a stock of good Dijon mustards."
