"I absolutely love Mercado San Anton and I have visited numerous times. Occasionally, I will go up to the second floor to grab a bite to eat, and every time I go to Delitaca. The food is absolutely delicious. It's not cheap, but it's fairly priced. The falafel alone is worth a trip. The bottom floor of the building is a supermarket nothing special. But the first floor is a beautiful market with lots of high quality produce, desserts, legumes, etc. The second floor has lots of little deli stalls for a quick bit or maybe even a full meal. While there is quite a bit of seating, it is not particularly comfortable and there is definitely not table service. You have to order at the deli stall, while someone holds down a table. Or you can order your food and then find a place to sit... anyway the food from Delitaca is worth the effort. The food is clearly homemade and the employees are extremely kind lots of vegetarian options, but vegan is more difficult. They know Spanish and English. Don't come here too early in the afternoon though because they take a LONG time to open the deli for business."

I've tried several items her and all were excellent. Their falafel is delicious and their plate of 3 dips with pita bread is terrific.

Located on the second floor of the Mercado San Anton, this Greek restaurant makes an excellent vegetable moussaka. The egg plant was tender and the portion size was perfect and filling for 6 E. The only issue is the seating in the market. The stools are so uncomfortable that it is better to buy meal and eat somewhere else.

This was a great experience, the chance to try a lot of small plates of Greek food and international dishes with a Greek touch. The ingredients are authentic and the Greek kid who waited on us was lovely. We had the moussaka and a cod and feta cheese quiche which was a real taste treat. The place is in the Mercado San Anton in the Chueca area of Madrid and is open all day.

My friend and I were in Mercado de San Anton lofting for food. We were attracted by the display. The food turn out exactly like in the display! We ordered: Pulpo Icaria Octopus+Olive Oil+Capsicum+Balsamic ? . Very appetizing. Strongly recommend! Delitaca Tomato+Chicken ? +Egg Plant+Egg+Chilli+Sauce ? . Perhaps this is their signature and it is not disappointing. Very delicious and strongly recommend! Baklava Unidad Pistachio. Too sweet for us, but worth a try. Linda drinks Lemondate+Ginger. The taste is just wow ! Thirst quenching.
