the hotel recommended and booked us this restaurant and we were not disappointed! the restaurant is located directly on the mosel and is tastefully decorated. eating was also delicious with enough choices for each taste, but short enough to make sure it is freshly prepared. I'll come back, if I find myself in Traben-Trarbach again.

I have eaten here as part of a group of six in a rainy, cool evening in the mai. in the entrance hall a fire burned, and the dining room itself was so inviting. the restaurant audience was relaxed, but chic without any claim. the evening meal was a highlight of our trip to Germany and to the lowlands. it was a really memorable evening. the woman who seemed to be the owner was delightful and helpful for us English speaking. the service was generally also good.

allegedly one of the best restaurants in Traben-Trarbach, my expectations were high. we had a drink in the romantic garden before we sat inside. the interieur was beautiful with rustic tables and chairs. the service was good, the wine delicious and the appetizer, antipasti to share, was excellent. the main court was good, but could have been better. for the desert I ordered a muddy cake that looked delicious on the dish but was dry inside. all in all a very pleasant dinner and I would come back - but I would not order a muddy cake for the desert.

we were a group of 4 and we all enjoyed this experience. the restaurant was very quiet from some ground on a Friday night. we loved the adjacent escort area where they can look at the household goods that are available for sale. my friend bought some pretty bowls and there were many other decorative items to have. our waiter was very well informed and suggested great weine to accompany the fantastic eating. all were satisfied with their food selection and we all agreed that eating had a very high standard. we were ready to book again for the next night, but unfortunately there was a private party. yes, this is the best restaurant in my short life in this country. ambiente: simply perfect: romantic, modern, but also in the country style. that was brilliant. Seafood-Carpaccio with salat and avocado. thunfischsteak with gnocchi perfectly prepared and dressed and not in secondary, quite huge. chicken in honey sauce with pineapple. during our stay in Traben-Trarbach we have eaten in several restaurants and this was my favorite. the ambiente is stylish and comfortable – you feel like in a shooting for an interior design magazine.
