The food is very tasty and the premises clean. You can sit outside in summer and enjoy the charm of the old town of Ladenburg. A star trigger for food prices. They're pretty high.

Nach einem Jahr kamen wir erneut und rundeten einen Besuch der Römerstadt mit auswärtigen Gästen durch einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der stilvollen Zwiwwel im Kern der Ladenburger Altstadt und inmitten eines römischen Forums (!) ab. View menu

Wir waren zum 2ten mal hier und waren auch wieder begeistert, Sowohl das Essen als auch die Weinauswahl waren toll. Leider schliesst das Lokal Anfang 2017 auch wegen des niedriegen Zuspruchs der Ladenburger Gemeinde. Schade aber in so einem Dorf fast schon voraussehbar.

I tried the top restaurants on my trip and Zwiwwel gave me the best experience. The staff was nice, the food very tasty and the extra dishes from the kitchen were also very well made. The price/value ratio was also good, as it is significantly...cheaper as the Backmulde.

Simply amazing experience. Friendly, 5 star service that was flattering and incredibly friendly. I not only felt welcome, but I felt important. Food was fantastic. Three course meal, with every course perfectly balanced to excite the palate, satiate your hunger but not overfill. the wowwel (local German dialect for wobbles from the high German wobbles) is a gourmet restaurant in the historic old town of Ladeburg. the perfect place for lunch after a walk through the medieval city centre. menu is small, but with very interesting...choices the prices are served at medium level, but absolutely in accordance with the excellent quality of the food. very friendly and quick service. highly recommended for a special meal!

Ladenburg is a lovely place to visit and this restaurant puts the icing on the cake! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the food was perfect. We opted for wine deal that means each course is accompanied by the correct wine for the course...every wine...a winner! We spent 3 hours over the meal, and the courses arrived with immpecable timing, but the time spent there just flew by. Can highly recommend to anyone wanting an amazing food experience!!

War schon öfters in der zwiwwel und bin nie entäuscht worden. Familienfeiern, essen mit freunden oder zuletzt mit Geschäftspartnern. Die umgebung ist klasse mitten im mittelaterlichen stadtkern, der service ist top, und das essen gehoben gut. Da gibt es nichts auszusetzen und das niveau ist meiner meinung gleichbleibend gut. Da macht man keinen fehler. Ich persönlich sitze lieber drinnen, aber wenn es heiss ist ist es stickig weil die räume für heutige verhältnisse sehr niedrig sind. Aber gerade das macht die innenräume aus. Freu mich auf das nächste mal. View menu
