"We had a quick, one-course lunch here before heading to the airport. Although the staff were pleasant enough, the food wasn't all that. I had risotto and hubby had the burger, both from the 2 set menus that were on offer. The food was OK, but nothing too exciting.Best bit was the rose lemonade. 35 euros for lunch seems a bit steep to me, but I guess this is Dordogne. Wouldn't recommend this, unless you can't get in anywhere else, which was the case with us!"

Cannot fault the food or the service but overshadowed by other meals we have had therefore only 4 out of 5. Would go back again if we visited Bergerac again

Called in based on good reviews from others. Duck en croute was tasty but strangely tough. Entrecôte would have had application in shoe manufacture - mostly left and complained but did'nt seem to worry waitress. View menu

The food here was okay although nothing special. There was no kids menu so they had to eat off the main menu which was too much and not really appropriate for the younger ones and also this made the meal alot more expensive. My daughter had pork which was cooked as a rare steak would be so she didn't eat that. Wouldn't return.

We had the fixed price lunch and found the food to be well presented and tasty. The only issue we had was that a large tour group had come in just prior to our arriving and it made for the service to be spread thin and someone lacking.I enjoyed the meal and would come again, hopefully when we can a little stress on the kitchen.

We ate here on our first night in Bergerac on the recommendation of our taxi driver. The food was very nice and the atmosphere was perfect. With our French at a minimum and the waitresses English at a minimum, ordering the food was a challenge but an enjoyable one with smiles and laughter all round. Well worth popping in if walking by. Visited this restaurant due to the good reviews on TA but should have concentrated more on the bad ones! My main of chicken with carrot and some other puree gave the impression of baby food whilst my husband's entrecote was one third gristle. Service wasn't up to scratch as we waited about half an hour for our dinner plates to be removed.

We did not have a full lunch, but enjoyed a cheese plate with our wine. The owners are friendly and helpful. The wine bar is centrally located with an outdoor patio area. It seemed quite crowded to me. A popular place with the locals. We were just passing through and arrived close to the lunch closing time. If you decide to stop in by say hello to Lucky, their mascot Bernese Mountain Dog.

"We went to L'Omelettaria for dinner with family and we were agreeably surprised by our experience there. Despite the fact that the restaurant was empty when we arrived which isn't that reassuring for a restaurant located in the very heart of the city, the owner was very friendly and welcomed us warmly. When it comes to the menu, options are varied; from omelets to salads and burgers, you can take your pick! There was also a correct amount of dessert options to choose from. As a pescatarian, I really appreciated the owner's thought of adding both vegetarian and pescatarian options to the menu which I believe and according to the menu we'd seen online weren't there before. Overall, the food was great: my mom and I both had the Atlantide omelet which consisted in an omelet filled with white asparagus and crème fraiche and topped with a slice of smoked salmon and lemon. My dad had the Paysanne omelet which was pretty filling; it was stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, potatoes and lardons. As for my sister, she had the Cheddar burger and it looked bomb. She loved it but couldn't finish it and honestly, I wouldn't have been able to finish it either because it was HUGE. Everything was served with a side of fries and salad which is nice and I NEED to mention that the fries are homemade and they are amazing. We thought we would still be hungry after dinner but it wasn't the case; considering the quality of the food and the fact that it is very filling, the prices are quite correct. Now, attention needs to be drawn towards the fact that the place in itself is not very noisy, but it is extremely close to a very busy street so it can get rapidly annoying. I do recommend this place, and I will absolutely do this again with friends in the summer after a few drinks at the bar which is a few steps away!"
