"we visited with friends today. the dog and the duck had an excellent menu that we go back to the sample. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the presentation of food was very wise in the did. the food was very tasty and timely served. the facility and the ambiente were most pleasant. we are very happy to return very soon. I had a very small handle that is my personal preference. I like to have a fork and spoon to eat my dessert, we didn't get a fork, I would have asked for one, but not. a very trivial thing I know."

I had the big haddock and chips with muddy heaps. it was very delicious and possibly the best fish and chips I had in ten years. it was washed with two amazing beer, wainwright golden ale and black sheep ale. delicious!

Called in here when passing for lunch and I'm so glad we did. Food was amazing, staff were very friendly and helpful and the pub itself was lovely, very warm and welcoming. Great outdoor area too. Will definitely go back.

excellent pub, beautiful village location with beautiful local food in the offer. that eating is so good that we have booked here in 2021 the Christmas dinner (what we have said we would never do again after a previous bad experience elsewhere) we were blown away, the money worth.

our second time here, though a long gap between. that is because you make regular trips to the direction. the food is excellent and safe worth for money. service was fast and with a smile and a courtesy that is always a good thing. the ales are also good. many parking spaces. highly recommended.
