I've eaten twice. it has a small escapade. if they are a bit claustrophobic, I would not recommend it. eating is good, but nothing really grandiose. service is great.

Very clean, neat, bright and welcoming establishment. Cheerful waiter provided exactly the right level of service. Croatian platter was amazing value and really top quality too. Go try it!

we were in passau days, we found this place our last night there, it is facing the water, so not something they would easily see. it was in the did our best dinning experience (and we had many great) during the visit. the food was very fresh and beautifully presented.

I came here for lunch and had the green salad with pan fried liver, the bill including fruit juice came to euros which I thought was good value. The main dish was great and not too heavy. Service was polite and fast. The location...was fair, but with a little traffic noise. I would recommend trying the place for something different.

The Croatia Restaurant is a lovely small place with fresh and delicious food. I had their grilled lamp slices. It came with a salad. The lamb was tender and tasty. The salad was fresh and yummy. The service was fast and friendly. I would recommend...this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good food at a reasonable price. Located on the river, it is nice place to enjoy your meal. Beautiful restaurant right by the water. I ate here on an overnight to Passau because it seems most of the restaurants in town only served schnitzel and catered to tourists coming off of cruise ships, which is a definite negative. I never had Croatian food...before so there we were. Restaurant was beautifully designed. Cozy with only or so tables. Food was priced from euro per entree, which was reasonable. I ordered cevapcici, which I found out were little sausages. Good, but not what I was hoping for. It could have been the best cevapcici in the world though? the naval life is very hard, especially the beginning and the conclusion of the season, and it was exactly at the end of the season that I found this piece paradies together with my colleagues. it was a very long and exhausting day for all, and probably the last night of us all together. the staff of the restaurant welcomed us very cordially and arranged a large table for us people). there came the commands, wonderful and tasty large portions, exactly what some hungry matroses needed at the moment. we enjoyed the last night very much, and that turned out to be the right place where to do it. at the end we have a cheap bill, each of us a traditional rakia glass from the house. that was the en...

Upon entering this charming restaurant we were greeted with a friendly smile by the owner. Seating was very comfortable and the colors soothing after a frantic day of chasing down tourism paperwork in Passau. We ordered Spezial Dunkel beers from Hacklerberg which were served...alongside a mild sour dough bread with two spreads: one a yogurt cucumber, and the other a bell pepper tomato with unusual seasoning. As I am allergic to bell peppers I was unable to try this spread so I cannot give you more information about those flavors.
