"As we were in the area, we couldn't resist yet again coming to the driftwood Spa. This place has lots of childhood memories for myself as a kid growing up, and regularly staying at Jane Sawles Beacon Cottage camping. The rocky slanted walk to the toilets has now gone which is a bit of a let down but I understand, that if your disabled, you would of had difficulty. The staff friendly. Only did small amount of food on menu as they do different menu at night. Table was a bit sticky. It was absolutely pouri g with rain but being sat in the starboard looking outside towards the road and the rain running towards the beach, was relaxing. Toilets were clean and tidy. Yet again this place fails to let us down. My memories continue to grow and just adding the new ones to it, has been like traveling back in time to early 80s and our family holidays. So glad covid didn't close you down."

Fantastic pub with loads of historic features. Function area could be made a bit better but the pub itself is great. By the way the food is great here too

Great hotel, bar and restaurant combination located in this Cornish cove. Would rank this among the top two places I have stayed; good food drink, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and even got brownies on arrival. Perfect after a long days hike.

beautiful place with friendly staff, and the grub is also really nice. beautiful selection of alcohol for most taste directions and a very dog friendly pub, unless you dog is a ankle backer. beer garden on the road with paid parking, but if you spend a few pfund 10) there, you can get a voucher to park. recommend when they go down or get back from the bay.

Truly one of the greatest pubs I’ve been to. I’m a regular so I could extol the virtues of this place for hours stunning building, brilliant staff, amazing beers. But I popped on here because I had the pleasure of having their Friday 2x fish chips for £20 and it was amazing. The batter was divine, huge piece of fresh fish the chips were spot on. Thanks Lou team! Rooms: 5

Good hotel facilities: clean room, nice comfy bed, an excellent breakfast, able to open a window! Staff all very helpful and friendly. Dinner on 2nd night disappointing. My fish stew was really tiny! Alot of carrot and only 5 mussels, two of which were empty shells with no sign of mussels in sauce. In fact, there was very little sauce which was basically tomato. Wish I hadn't opted for it and it spoilt a generally good impression.

Just had Sunday lunch here with my husband. We arrived a little early but that was no problem , we were seated at our table and had a little relax and a drink in the bistro restaurant. The food was fantastic, My husband had the lobster ravioli and I had the Cornish brie to start. Then we both had a roast beef lunch ,proper home cooked Sunday roast. So tasty. Portion sizes are very generous. I don't know how but we managed to fit a dessert in. I had lemon and lime posset and my husband had the blondie with ice cream. I didn't manage to finish the posset , it was just a little too much but taste and value for money spot on. You have a fantastic chef there, keep hold of them. The lady that serve...
