Sourdough pizza... yum! First time at East, and first time sourdough pizza. Totally yum. Easy online ordering, and nice friendly staff at the restaurant. Wish I’d taken a photo of the pizza now to post on here, but it didn’t last long enough to be clicked.... Yum!

Disgusting pizza, over priced and very small for what you pay for. Think the ham.was off as it tasted disgusting. Avoid at all times. Plenty nicer places to eat. Staff not friendly at all, don't want to hear about your complaint. We shall never eat here again. Got to be honest .0/10

Three medium pizzas £30. Base quite nice but sauce really bland and unseasoned. Toppings rather sparce. You had to look quite closely to see the pepperoni which was also rather bland. Had seen it quite highly rated on this site which i really do not agree with. Have had better and less expensive elsewhere. Not a recommend or another use. View menu

Suchhhh tasty pizza!!! I got the Rosemary/Garlic mushroom/mascarpone one and it did not disappoint! Loads of mushrooms and they were so delicious! Also the tomato base is unreal! Can tell it’s freshly made. Sourdough base is everything you’d want, crispy/chewy/delish. My onlyyyyy criticism was the garlic aioli dip.. did not enjoy it at all. Not enough garlic for me and had a strange aftertaste.. that may just be my uneducated taste buds though Thank you! I’ll be back!

I went to the Morningside location for dinner and had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the drink selection was impressive, with the delicious Vienna Pale by Pilot and a fantastic house red wine. The range of pizza options catered to all tastes, and they were made quickly and were exquisite. I especially recommend trying the venison salami, blue cheese, and caramelized onion pizza (£11). Overall, it was a great meal and I will definitely be returning.

We were visiting Edinburgh having lived here some years previously. We phoned in an order for the Morningside road branch for pick-up, but mistakenly spoke to the Leith branch. On turning up to pick up our pizzas (with hungry kids waiting), both branches liaised to allow the pizzas to be made again in Morningside. This was above and beyond from a service perspective. The staff were helpful, polite and friendly. The pizzas were fantastic!! Thanks for rescuing an evening from a simple mix-up. Definitely the best Pizza this side of town. View menu

Stopped in at East Pizza Morningside after a day up Arthur’s Seat with my 3 year old son. Starving, we chose a house margarita and a smoked chorizo, mozzarella and oregano pizza to go. Service was friendly, pizza was ready in 5 minutes and that was that. We ate in the van. The pizza was delicious, the chorizo in particular. The sourdough base was fluffy at the crust and thin in the middle. The sugo was sweet, tangy and fresh. Simple food done right. Later...no bloating or unquenchable thirst from heaps of salt. My son is a bit of a pizza connoisseur (read: fussy) and loved it. The two of us ate the lot.

That was my first experience with this place,which I chose on my way home. I spotted earlier, so I thought the best time would be when I'm really fancy for a pizza. Staff was kind and helpful. I chose a vegetarian pizza with harissa and cauliflowers, red onion, and smoked almond. After 7 mins I got it from one of the staff member, who came to me at the front door. Because it was raining, I did not open the box, but in the car I opened and found a burned, blackish pizza. I wasn't amazed. I thought if the taste of it would be horrible I took it back. I really wanted to like the impressively boastful Harissa Spiced Roasted Cauliflower, Smoked Almonds, Red Onions and Garlic . At £9.50 £2 for 4 and a half olives extra , I was delivered a round piece of bread with the barest coating of tomato sauce, the tiniest microcosms of cauliflower I 'd ever seen, Spartan bits of almond, really thin and really few onion slices and zero taste of garlic. The dough, especially the outer fluffed crust was not cooked all the way, resulting in a sloppy pizza. Despite my instructions to ensure it was crispy .
