"I know! I shouldn't be moaning about the price of anything in Geneva, but four pretty standard sandwiches and four soft drinks (one of which was a mini bottle of water at SF3.20!) for £45 is outrageous! The sandwiches are nice, not outstanding. Just to be clear, we had a tuna melt, two plain ham sandwiches and a beef sandwich. Not a dolphin and platypus club on Bolivian flatbread, or some such! And three cokes - and a Coke is a Coke is a Coke! Plus that wee bottle of water! The setting is okay and the place itself quite nice. But we're not talking anything a million miles apart from Subway...Most of the staff were lovely but they guy at the till taking the orders was officious and plain rude. Perhaps the pained expressions of customers wincing at the prices gets him down? But at the end of the day the main reason this gets 3* is because I don't quite get how anyone can live with themselves charging over a tenner a sandwich - unless it comes with a side order of gold-leaf chips, the bread is baked inside the nearby CERN large hadron collider before being served by Angelina Jolie!"
All prices are estimates.
