"I think I have found our reference restaurant in San Vito Lo Capo, the place is located in the village center, great service, very rich menu and when I asked what he had as day fish the waiter came to the table with a tray full of fresh tooth and an hourly. We took A grilled squid Ai Sapori di Sicilia and a half-kg toothpaste made to the crazy water so with tomatoes olives and capers all cooked to perfection And I can assure you that it was the best toothpaste I have ever eaten and also the squid was good and cooked perfectly on the grill; I forgot to say that while waiting to receive orders since the teeth to crazy water takes time they brought us as entrée a tray with very good falafel so to conclude I can only recommend this restaurant where we will definitely return when we will still make a ride around here"

Good food but an eye to the proposals that make the fools. I ask for the bill and the bitterness of the collar is sucessively proposed. 7€ that left me the bitter in my mouth.

El Jazira is a good fish restaurant. The raw material is absolutely good and everything is prepared in the right way. The cooking of the fish is accurate and the staff quite attentive. In short, a place worthy of the place where we are: San Vito Lo Capo...

We loved the setting and service in this fabulous place. The food was of the highest quality, and the quiet street side setting gave a great atmosphere. We were made to feel really special on the night and were looked after with real warmth and care. Great wines, fabulous beef and tuna mains and tasty desserts this was our favourite meal in Sicily. Highly recommended!

"First impression of the restaurant was great. The waiter was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, our positive experience changed very fast. Our antipasti had a piece of plastic wrapping in it which I found in the portion of the dish that had calamari and eggplant. Not too big of a deal though, these things happen and we moved on. My girlfriend informed the waiter that she was pregnant and couldn't eat shellfish or large fish such as tuna or swordfish and was recommended the couscous dish. I ordered mussels. Once the food arrived, we noticed that her dish was full of swordfish, clams and mussels... exactly what she couldn't eat. At this point we didn't want to make a fuss so she just gave me those pieces which she couldn't eat. A couple of bites in, she finds a piece of aluminum foil in the dish. Now she's getting angry. A few bites later, she pulls out yet ANOTHER piece of plastic wrapping. This was the straw that broke the camels back and we had to say something at this point. Our original waiter noticed the error and was visibly upset and immediately apologized but for some reason, another waiter felt he needed to say his part and tried to explain to my girlfriend that it wasn't plastic but rather a shell... from the calamari. Well, I might not live by the sea but I know for certain that squid doesn't shells that look like pieces of plastic wrapping. This other waiter basically started arguing with my girlfriend which was rubbing salt in the wound at that point. Fortunately, the first waiter (who turned out to be the owner/manager), comped our entire meal and apologized. This part was greatly appreciated. PS. The gin tonic was phenomenal!"
