we loved the menu, very complete and rich , we tried several very good walkers and then very rich paella. very attentive waiters. privileged place with views of bay.

I'm surprised and I'm sure I'll be back. all very rich food, attentive and very friendly service. site with spectacular views of the beach of peñiscola. I recommend it.

Nice terrace with view to the sea and the castle, elegant table and service, excellent fresh fish restaurant; in the past the mercat of fish was here; good wine and welcome service.

We were on a tour and pushed For time and we found this lovely location at the end of the beach overlooking the water.There is so much competition and you just like the look of the place and took a risk which paid off because...the food was tasty the service excellent and timely .suprisingly the restaurant was not that busy so we were lucky The whole restaurant was clean and tidy and we were lucky to get a seat by the water. It was not cheap for a quick lunch but the atmosphere food and service made it worthwhile

We have just dined at the El Mercat de Peniscola and it was just faultless. The outside but fully protected part of the restaurant is right above the ocean while inside has a wonderful atmosphere with traditional seating as well as bar stools. The staff...are friendly and helpful and nothing is to much trouble. The food was fabulous and reasonably priced as were the drinks. The inside restaurant floor has a clear section that looks down in the cellar with lots of old wine related things as well as a bicycle and other things. We had a delicious, happy, relaxing evening starting with complimentary small tastyt fish and finishing with a complimentary drink. A lovely end to our stay in Peniscola...
