"We went to dinner on Friday 20, they made us room because we went to 7 people (3 adults and 4 children) and there was little room free. We were lucky because he started to line up on the street waiting. The little one is celiac and they guide us some references read. all great prices, reasonable and all very rich. They served the children first, which is to thank. some dishes were delayed a bit, but it is understandable since the terrace was on top. the little one had a good meal and there were a lot of options to eat gluten-free that is certainly appreciated. They also had a detail with my other daughter, they premiered a bucket of rubik and one of the women workers had the detail of teaching her how to solve it by listening to an app that would be guided. If we go back for oropesa, we'll come back without hesitation. Thank you for everything!"

the most sympathetic and attentive owner cannot be. gluten-free food, adapt it perfectly without having cross contamination. the very rich food.

neighborhood bar for a lifetime. The rations were good but a little bit scarce. the tender but rather fat wizard and the cheese potatoes... the cheese to discover and without melting well

the food and service, very well, the pity that the waiters were missing and we took a lot of time to have dinner, if you go with children, be aware, it may take a little time to serve you. View menu

I went with some friends and even though the bar was full, the attention was excellent, the quality-price was most acceptable. We ate rations and the most remarkable were the shrimps on the plate and the table of cheeses, with an exquisite presentation, as well as its flavor and variety. the staff very friendly and attentive. We will certainly come back!

We went there to take a vermu and decided to stop. We asked for two sangria jars and spectacular recommending to try them! a fried purple ration that was hard because of what was refrito, I let the truth want; and we also asked for a ration of fingers that were good but were empanadas. The attention was normal, but if it is true that we expected a lid with the drink that was not there.

"Looking for a special restaurant to mark the end of our son's 10-day holiday with us, we were recommended Restaurant a Roda as a place locals frequent away from the more touristy venues along the seafront at nearby Concha Beach. We were pleased we followed the advice as our party of three enjoyed an excellent and reasonably priced dinner. We were particularly pleased that we were not the only diners, though being an out-of-season Thursday evening, it was still sparsely populated. Despite that the atmosphere was convivial and our waiter was welcoming and attentive, even though he couldn't speak English and our Spanish is virtually non-existent. We chose our starters of calamares a la Romana, a house salad and a plate of Iberico ham but the waiter, noting that they were for us individually rather than for sharing, adjusted the portion sizes and prices to reflect this, which we thought showed excellent consideration for diners' needs. My son and I had entrecôte, which was huge and beautifully cooked and served in a sauce of our choosing. My wife also said her lemon sole was superb and she would definitely choose it again if we ever return. We were slightly disappointed that our first choice of wine was not available but the (cheaper) alternative was really delicious and quaffable so no complaints there. There was also no solomillo available and the waiter admitted the pudding menu was also a bit restricted, though the flan and tarta Santiago we had were home made and delicious. With drinks, including a large gin and tonic, a bottle of Rioja, mineral water and coffees, the total bill came to just over €112 which we all agreed was great value. Diners looking to get off the tourist track should certainly include Restaurant a Roda in their itinerary for an authentic taste of Spain. Muy bien."
