"everything was perfect for us from beginning to end. the personal was nice and always made sure we were in order. they welcome us at the entrance, have our moms and sat on the table. soon after they have our order for drinks and eat. we have not waited too long for eating about 10-15 minutes, but I noticed that as soon as it started filling with people, they had to wait a bit longer"

Our second visit to Embankment kitchen was just as good as the first. Good was amazing my partner is gluten free and I am vegan and they had plenty of options for us. They were also very accommodating in changing up a cocktail for us. Amazing food and service as always. Really great value for money as well.

Once we were seated, it took a long time for the food to arrive. When it finally did, it was enjoyable, but we didn't receive breakfast with the toast, despite asking twice. We eventually gave up waiting for it after we had already finished our meal. Additionally, we did not receive the promised 30% discount. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

"Hearing about a traditional fish and chip shop in Prestwich, complete with a restaurant and bar, and cooking in beef-dripping with the option for vegetable oil (call to confirm vegetable oil availability), I was compelled to check it out. Upon entering the shop, I found myself in the bar area, with access to the restaurant located upstairs. The bar was furnished with tables, chairs, and stools for those wishing to enjoy a drink or avoid the stairs. It is encouraging to see young people engaged in the fish and chip shop trade, potentially leading to more traditional establishments in the future. The cod, although slightly smaller than expected, was delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips were among the best I’ve had in a long time. The pea fritters, black pudding fritters, and tartare sauce were also excellent. In-house pies were available as well, so I sampled the cheese and onion and meat and potato varieties and can recommend both. There is parking available across the street and on-street. However, the opening hours might not suit those looking for a lunchtime meal, as at the time of this review, the hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and closed on Sunday and Monday.
