"Everything was very well thought out and the individual flavours were delicious. We especially enjoyed our oxtail tortellini with prawns. We wish the portion of that dish was bigger it was that tasty. Our mains were generous and full of flavour. Our shared panacotta dessert took a bit too long to arrive, although the waitress was very attentive and aware of this fact before we even thought to bring it up. This wasn't her fault and everything was handled very thoughtfully. The service in general was exceptional. The overall value for everything we consumed was a little steep for a neighbourhood restaurant (110 for two people and the portions were small enough) but we were late booking and want to try the early bird, which is considerably cheaper. All in all, our experience was highly memorable and we'll be coming back for an early evening visit next time!"

We had brunch eggs Benedict which I can highly recommend. The portions were a good size and good value at just €14 each. A good choice for a leisurely brunch.

The Neighbourhood Menu was great value at €23 for 3 courses. Great quality food with very friendly service. I’d definitely recommend it as a Neighbourhood gem for anyone living in near or around Milltown and south Dublin View menu

I went to Ember for the first time last Friday and I will definitely be returning. We tried the early bird special and found it to be great value for money, with delicious food. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and the staff were attentive and on top of things.

I would rate this restaurant 4 stars, with a few small improvements needed to make it exceptional. The service is good, very laid-back, and the staff are delightful. The atmosphere is great, but it could use more customers to liven it up. I am surprised it wasn't busier, as this is a charming place with high-quality food at reasonable prices.

"it is all to change again, but thanks to the coffee is ace really top notch, shaded and perfectly roasted. funny enough while we find the rich from latte to macchiato, cappuccino by flat white etc. gibraltar is nowhere to find, not as much as. the customized glass. the personal remains as cheerful as always, despite the fact that their business must be desperate, and their reasonable prices remain the same. it's only here again with another lock-off, but the policy doesn't call it a lock. These people are still paid, they enjoy nominated wage increases (imaginable that they can decide on their own wage increases and who have recently given their support staff (in many cases family members a wage (and associated pension) increase. maya like so many companies have lots of things at a theke near the door to sanitise and here is the thing that the type that makes the coffee I can go, feet stand from him and give him money to pay and take a coffee and change from him. but if he had this machine in his kitchen, I couldn't go for a free coffee in his house. I could work with him all day, but I could not sit for a beer with him in a local bar for half an hour, but we could meet in the local church for an hour service. So look. So they think about how important it is to help small independent, especially in these strange times when the only certain are dead, control and grab money, dishonest politicians."
