"We stopped here for a drink during a downpour today. We had 2 small beers and americano and Irish coffee. When we asked for the bill, the staff were unsure of how much we had ordered. We clarified the above. 2 small beers, americano and Irish coffee. The waiter came and refused to put down the receipt for our drinks. There were 3 bills? He said €16 total. The bills never left his hand. We gave €20 to the waiter. When he brought our change. I asked for the bills. His manager brought them over. They had charged us for 4 beers! We told them we had 2! They argued and said it was a mistake of the machine? Well why ask us, refuse to give us our bill to clarify and happily take our money for drinks not had?!? We got our €5 back but will never return. Please take this as a warning to check your bills for this dishonest business!"

Staff were decent. Service a bit slow but we weren’t in a rush. Menu offers a lot of choice. Seafood dishes were very good.

We have been here many times and are really looking forward to going again as we are arriving in Gran Canaria on Friday. We cannot wait. The food and atmosphere and looking out to the beach are all excellent. See you very soon!

Absolutely wonderful, should be 5 stars. Never been here before as I had other favourite restaurants. This is my new favourite. Fabulous sardines, best chips EVER! Lovely salmon, prawn avocado toast. Garlic prawns look fab. I'll definitely be back, probably tomorrow!

Just wow . Amazing food , fantastic service and the best window view . We went 3 times whilst on holiday . The goats cheese and roasted veg starter was delicious . The filleted fish was so tasty and the Salmon, prawn and avocado salad was so fresh . The pizza was lush too . Great value for money with a five star experience. The lad outside trying to get people to come in was a joy to speak to. I just love the place it’s so pretty and modern inside . Just perfect with the view .

We waited nearly an hour for our main course to arrive. When it did come my partner who is vegetarian has a chicken nugget in the middle of his fries. My chicken skewer was still raw and hadn’t been thoroughly cooked. We explained to the waiter and he didn’t care in the slightest. He did go on to explain that everything is cooked in the same pan. Food safety doesn’t get a look in and good luck if you have any allergies. The waiter who brought our bill exclaimed, ‘No Tip?!’ and was extremely rude to finish it off. Hard avoid.

a good restaurant of a good place, with good cuisine and good service. We were twice in this restaurant and did not disappoint either. In the first one we ate avocado salad, shrimp and salmon, a few wrinkles and some chopitos, all very well cooked and in good quantities and our son ate a gazpacho and a comb on the plate. On the next occasion, we ordered a saharian squid, a few sardines on the plate and we repeated the salad as we got a lot, amen of the wrinkles with an excellent picon mojo and we were happy again. As for the service no glue, they were at all times very kind and diligent. are certain all the good opinions on the internet

"During our winter stay on the island of Gran Canaria we stayed four times in the bar restaurant Casa Antonio, located in Santa Lucia de Tirajana. In the village there are three other restaurants but, we always opted for Casa Antonio because it is the safest as unlike the others it has a good level of hygiene. The structure of the restaurant is characteristic as it is obtained from an old Canarian house. The interiors are decorated in a traditional but elegant way, the bathrooms are quite large and above all clean. It has a small terrace that unfortunately is not very enjoyable because it faces directly on the road and cars pass too close at high speed. The menu is rather trivial, you eat the same things you can eat in any other traditional restaurant on the island. The quality of the elements is certainly not excellent, the wine list is a bit poor with not exactly cheap prices. The Service, considering that all four times we have been to Casa Antonio the restaurant was half empty, was entrusted to a boy of about 40 years, kind but not overly nice and uncommunicative, his presence does not contribute to creating a relaxing atmosphere. In my opinion, given that the place is almost always empty and tendentially sad, it would be appropriate for the service to be entrusted to a more cheerful, dynamic, engaging person, probably a female figure would be more appropriate. Practically once the meal has been eaten, all that remains is to remain seated at the table in silence. It 's a real pity because the place is suitable for continuing the evening by drinking some spirits, for example, listening to good music and perhaps socializing with the other customers who are missing in this case. I rate the experience in Casa Antonio with two stars because, despite being the best restaurant in the town of Santa Lucia, it offers an extremely boring atmosphere."
