Had a full Scottish brekfast here. Service was good, food was great. Friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Torquay.

We popped in here after a warm walk round town and we have to say we were delighted with the lunch and the service. 2 tuna melts and salad just hit the spot. The service was good and the young lady who served us was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

We ate here on our arrival to Torquay. This licenced cafe is in a central location and the food is home-made and cooked to order. There is a range of food options with some hot dishes e.g. omelette and chips at only £6.00, however the drinks are expensive, with a 330ml bottle of San Miguel being £3.95.

We found Ewings and thought we would try it to the annoyance of our son. The restaurant was very nice and clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The food was sublime. Cooked to perfection and piping hot. The amenities were superbly looked after and the cleanliness stood out. We will definetly be going back. View menu

Popped in here for breakfast for the first time. Very lovely and something different for England! The Full Scottish is highly recommended. The potato scone and square sausage makes a welcome change from other establishments all offering the same. Will definitely be coming back! The owner seems really nice and appears to be a family friendly establishment. 5 stars.

I have visited this restaurant twice now for a cooked breakfast and both times, I can honestly say it has been the best breakfast I have ever had. The sausages were of good quality, which is very important to me in a breakfast, and all the ingredients were well-cooked. The menu offers a good selection of food, including a Scottish breakfast that I have not seen anywhere else in Torbay. The service is friendly and the setting is very relaxed.

I decided to have breakfast in this restaurant this morning whilst staying locally, but what a mistake wish now I'd of gone to McDonald's who couldn't of done any worse for a fraction of the price I paid for utter garbage!I was initially welcomed by the server after waiting to be seated by the sign, I ordered the Eggs Benedict a large americano coffee, I asked for cream but was told they only do milk which was disappointing to hear, then 5mins after making my order a sales rep, (I think he was) who was sitting near me got up firing questions at the man cooking for almost 10mins about supplies brands stressing me about the quality of my poached eggs, when my food did arrive, it looked ok but...
