Booked a table via website for lunch at 14.30 for 6 only to be told when we arrived that they didn't have a table and food had stopped being served. Kitchen closed at 15.00 so had time! Service: 1 Location: 4 View menu

A lovely little country pub, lovely atmosphere Only down side was on returning to the car, in their car park, the door mirror was knocked off. Not by another car, more like a person. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet

Despite it being a busy Sunday, we were warmly welcomed when we took a chance and visited this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional, especially the beer. I would give the service and location both a rating of 5 out of 5.

I can't blame this place at all. the pub is a wonderful rural pub. eating was excellent, freshly cooked and amazing. the personal was friendly and responsive. we sat near a beautiful wood fire and gave the place a wonderful ambiente. if we are ever back in the opposite, we will surely return View menu

I arrived at the restaurant on Sunday, November 19th, thinking I had booked a room for the night. After driving from the west Midlands to visit family, I was informed that I had actually booked for the next year. The staff were incredibly helpful in trying to find us alternative accommodation. We are grateful for all your assistance and kindness. We will definitely be making a reservation for the correct night and year in the future. (I'll have my husband do it next time so I don't make another mistake!)

I would give this pub and B&B a 5-star rating overall. It was a great spot for a one-night break. The food in the bar restaurant was delicious, and I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu. The room was lovely, but I had a small issue trying to fill the kettle with the provided bottle as it was too large to fit under the sink. I ended up using a glass a few times, which worked fine, but a plastic jug would have been more convenient. Despite that minor inconvenience, my stay was enjoyable, and the breakfast yesterday was excellent.

Amazing staff super friendly and welcoming. Room was very well fitted out onsuite bathroom tv kettle and a comfy bed. Breakfast had a few choices and was beautiful both days we stayed. The rest of the food here is just amazing also. We have eaten here a few times now and have across devon just for a Sunday roast before now. It is a must go to place just remember to pre book as they do get rather busy. The other great thing about the exeter inn is its location. Only a short walk from beautiful Bampton with Tiverton about a 15 minute drive. You have Exeter about a half hour drive and also straight on to the North Coast Minehead, Dunster, Watchet all about 45 minute drive. This inn really is pl... View menu
