"I recently visited this restaurant for the first time in a long time and it appears that there have been changes in management/staff. The service was terrible. The chef, an old and miserable man, didn't speak to us and looked at us with disdain. He took our order without saying a word and brought the food out without giving us plates. When I asked for plates, he pointed to small saucers on the table. When I asked for dinner plates, he walked off in a huff and came back with only one plate. Another customer came in and the old man rudely interrupted the young guy who seemed nice and chill. The food was mediocre with too much oil, salt, and undercooked meat. The place was dirty, with dirty cutlery and broken and dirty tables. This place should be closed down. I will not be returning. I rarely write negative reviews, but this place was unacceptable. I give it a 0/10."

Do not order from this restaurant absolutely the worst food I have ever seen full of grease burnt hard chicken and wrong order. Called to complain and was told to f off the customer service and food is disgraceful. Do not waste your money View menu

The authentic dishes like Biryani, curries, and naan at this restaurant are amazing. However, I must admit that the fast food options are not up to par. I tried the doner and fries and found them to be disappointing as they were not freshly made.

The food here was great but the service was below par. The server was miserable and barely responded to any of our questions. Also a number of items on the menu were out. We were given the reason that the restaurant had a busy afternoon. Despite this, I would return for the food.

Canteen style dinner specialising in Afghan food and Pakistani Curry but doing lots of other things. I ordered a Lamb Karahi and got mutton cooked in a very sour and bitter unappetising sauce. Naan bread was supermarket style without any great taste. Rice was OK but definitely not Basmati. There are better places in Crawley to go for a curry so I won't be back...but they do do Fish and Chips.... View menu

Ignore the unpromising surroundings, and some of the reviews here this is hands down the best Afghan food I have eaten in the UK. We had a fresh, flavourful chicken curry, a stunning lamb stew and a terrific spinach curry. All made with passion and authenticity; I can’t remember when I enjoyed a meal as much as this. If you haven’t tried Afghan good before I would highly recommend this restaurant. The owner is kind and thoughtful too which adds to the experience.

eating came a little later than expected and when it arrived, it was not terribly warm. but it tasted good. the fries we ordered were the same as the fat chips, so I guess there was a mishap. the fat chips are skin on chips and these were cold and overboiled, but if they were hot, they would have been delicious. the cod, mixed kebab and burger were all delicious so I would order again, but I hope they get the chips right and it's all a bit warmer next time. Oh, the curry sauce was delicious and one of the best we had for one.
