"so often we see traditional restaurants lost and large chains trying to recreate them badly. This one holds on to its roots and quite rightly so This place is a real gem. The owners don't soeak a word of English which makes it fun because they are so friendly. The noises and gesticulations used to explain that the younger claret would be better, and them checking the monbazillac was ok because te Sauternes was off brought a smile to my face. The menu was extraordinary and completely unexpected for the out of te way farm. We were treated to the freshest scallops, what looked (and sounded) like home grown foie gras. Confit of duck, lamb shank. The cremant du Bourgogne was not on the menu but was duly supplied. The puddings, the cheese, OMG. We couldn't move after our dinner but we didn't care. Did we understand everything we ate? No. Was it good, hell yeah. It was pure traditional French bliss and a world away from Flunch and those awful booze cruise warehouses selling hotdogs to lorry drivers and the £2 a bottle wine buyers. Ok the rooms are basic but they're clean and comfy. So get yourself on an overnight booze cruise(you can find the odd decent wine or two) and eat here. The wine list is short but good so you might want to stay"

This is the hotel on the farm. An authentic atmosphere and a country setting but more oriented travel of approval than business trip.

Very welcoming place British cottage style. Perfect for masters travelling with their dog. Excellent restaurant. A delight. Patrons very available and listened to. A real happiness. If you had to find a flat: the vestity of the rooms but largely forgotten by the quality of the stay as a whole.

The worst logis we have ever stayed in.Receptionist/ waitress/owner? doesn't like English people. She must understand more English than she lets on.We booked half board for €206.Our room was €83 and breakfast €14.5.For our evening meal we were told that it was chicken plus dessert total cost €27.5Total cost €167!!!!!!!

The evening stage is really too expensive for services more than limit. 115th for a dish/dessert or input/plat, really pingre. In this menu without choice with a super simple dish, chicken fillet, 3 Brussels cabbages, a potato and a cream jar. Dessert: white cheese or dessert. Extreme simplicity for a 29th menu. The room is old-fashioned and carpeted and lacks a tiled floor in the bathroom. Nothing catastrophic but the price is too exaggerated. I'm not ready to come back.

First class location and cuisine. Probably the best breakfast in the Boulonnais. Welcoming staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Excellent menu and supporting cellar. However dispersed buildings cope poorly with wet weather. Ground floor rooms are very good but those in the attic are smaller, less airy in summer, and approached by a fearsome wooden staircase. If you have mobility problems you MUST tell the Management when you book. It's not cheap, but you won't mind that after your first dinner.
