Answered the phone quickly and got the food out in about an hour. The ribs were ok, drowning in oil but edible. The Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken on the other hand.. was not food by any standard, soggy chicken in an indescribable sauce, certainly wasn’t sweet and sour more vomit with veggies. The fish and chips and burger were great tonight at this restaurant. I was a bit concerned at first because it never seems busy, but I will definitely be returning. The cod was especially good. I placed an online order for delivery at home. Unfortunately, one item was missing so I had to call back and wait for them to correct our order. The chicken burgers looked decent at first, but upon closer inspection, they were disappointing. The salad that came with the burgers was terrible, and it was the same in all three burgers. We used to be regular customers of this restaurant, but now we will be looking for alternative options.

This is the best fish and chip shop in the area. The service is quick and efficient for takeout. It's perfect for a satisfying dinner. The prices are reasonable, averaging around £10-20 per person. The food is top-notch, receiving a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, also earning a score of 5. Highly recommended dishes include the cheesy chips, chicken chow mein, crispy aromatic duck, and of course, the fish.

Ordered salt and pepper chips and chicken chow mein. The chips were very nice. The chow mein was not what I was expecting and could have done with more chicken. It had a lot of onions and was in a sauce. The sauce was not to my taste. The noodles are the fine ones. Had the misfortune of ordering from here tonight, food was devoid of taste and very greasy. Was so bad it ended up in the bin. I was actually jealous of my daughters Happy Meal The cook definitely doesn't taste what they are cooking otherwise the food would be at a minimum seasoned and have some taste. This meal was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The meal type was categorized as "Other" and the price per person ranged from £1 to £10. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5. Some of the recommended dishes include Chicken Chips, Cheesy Chips, Chicken Chow Mein, Plain Chow Mein, Egg Fried Rice, Beef with Green Pepper, Duck Fried Rice, Spare Ribs with Capital Sauce, Hot Sour Soup, Crispy Aromatic Duck, Sweet Sour Chicken Balls, Fried Squid with Seasonal Vegetables, Chicken Mushroom Pie, and Salt and Pepper Chips.

Chinese in the back chippy in the front. Chinese entrance looked disused but is still in use. Sweet and sour sauce was light brown, translucent and tasted 100%sour, there was no sweetness at all. Possibly gone bad? Egg fried rice was overcooked and stodgy (looked like fresh boiled rice that had been fried with egg, traditionally you let the rice sit for 24hrs before using for fried rice). £4.50 for salt and pepper chips, the salt and pepper seasoning was used sparingly and the portion was very small.
