Excellent food, ordered by phone and ready for collection in 15 mins. Delivery available with small charge, food hot and well presented. Recommend anything with black bean sauce, a favourite.

Sadly . Even after writing them a letter which they didn't acknowledge I would never use this place again . All the Chinese food taste the same and there are better takeaways available . Fish and chips are mediocre :

All taste the same . Too much onion added to the food to bulk it up . Have used this Chinese for many years but the level off quality has gone right down . Better fish and chips just up the road. Also use an other Chinese now. View menu

The service is friendly and the food is great! The value of the food is average but they are very generous, especially with the battered fish! I really like how the fish is big as you can share it. I also like the jacket potato with cheese and beans! Really hot and fresh! Would Recommend this takeaway to a friend.

I regularly get food from Fortune, and disagree with the other commenters. I've enjoyed almost every dish I've had: Kung Po king prawn is excellent, with generous amounts of fish. My usual is crispy chilli beef, £6 including rice and a can. It's a very standard, perfectly decent, unpretentious, western-tastes place.

we ordered 2 different chow mien dishes and both were sloppy and tasteless it wasn't even mixed up properly. Adding our own chilli sauce to make it have some flavour didn't even save the day. The chicken satay starter was just as vile overlooked/burnt with runny/greasy satay sauce that had a distinct lack of peanut taste. BBQ ribs tasted burnt. Basic take away -Chinese. Food was good. Nothing special but ideal for a night when you do not want to cook. House special curry and ribs were good. Just take note to check your order before you leave as I did not get my Singapore chow mien.... ended up with plain noodles and chop suey in the same pot half/half of some sorts? ... bit bland for me as I was look forward to my spicy noodles but unfortunately didn’t realise until I got home. Would have meant the rest got cold! Will be checking in future!

After moving to the area recently, my spouse and I decided to indulge in a Chinese takeout. We received a menu from a nearby takeout restaurant in our mailbox, and instead of checking reviews, we opted to try FORTUNE. Unfortunately, it was a mistake. The main disappointments were the greasy prawn toast, cold and bland chicken fried rice, and the crispy shredded chili beef that was neither crispy nor flavorful. The lesson learned is to always read reviews or ask for recommendations from neighbors. We will not be ordering from here again.

If i told you that the best part of the meal was the prawn crackers that should tell you everything you need to know. Ordered the most basic dishes..prawn crackers, chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls. I kid you not but none of the food was seasoned! The rice was plain boiled rice with egg and chicken. The chow mien was plain noodles on one side with overcooked beansprouts and onions on the other which was drowning in a gloopy clear liquid. The chicken balls were overcooked but edible. We had to add our own soy sauce! View menu
